Managers working in Disneyland in California and Florida confirmed that amusement parks are indeed the first choice for many tourists to scatter family ashes. Moreover, there is a clean-up operation code-named "HEPA" inside Disney, which means that these ashes should be cleaned with an ultra-fine vacuum cleaner at least once a month.
According to reports, tourists will put their family members' ashes in plastic bags or medicine bottles, hide them in wallets or backpacks and secretly bring them into Xanadu. Then they will scatter the ashes on flower beds, trees, turf of pirates in magic kingdom or the Caribbean, and Dumbo amusement facilities. Among all the facilities, the most frequently chosen place is the haunted building. An administrator said: "There may be too many human ashes in the ghost mansion, but it's not funny."
A Disney spokesman said, "This kind of behavior is not only strictly prohibited, but also illegal, and guests who try to do so will be taken away."
