What are the Feng Shui requirements for a boss’s desk?

Avoid having a water outlet next to the boss's desk, avoid being too close to the corner of the room, avoid having no support behind, and avoid facing three sides. The size of the boss's desk should fit in with the size of the office.

The feng shui theory of the boss’s desk comes from modern feng shui theory and practice. During the actual Feng Shui inspection and company Feng Shui inspection process, we often see that business owners’ own office Feng Shui layout is not satisfactory, leading to some problems in business operations.

There should be no water outlet next to the boss's desk: such as the sink and the boss's office should not be close to the water room of the office building, especially the boss's desk cannot face or oppose the water room. In Feng Shui, waterways represent wealth, and it is not a good thing to see money flowing out. At the same time, the sound of water flow and water pipes in the water room is a sound evil in Feng Shui, which is not good for the office owner.

Don’t keep the boss’s desk too close to the corner of the room: Generally, human beings are accustomed to living on both sides, which is safer. The boss's office is generally relatively spacious, but if the desk is too close to the corner of the room, it will tend to make people shrink back and make them depressed and indecisive, unable to boldly let go; they will be prone to laziness and lack of enterprising spirit. In Figure 2, in a modern office building, the desk is not only too close to the corner, but another serious problem is that the office is on a high floor, and the two sides of the desk are not actually solid walls. It is too empty and looks like a hanging In the air, unsteady. It may not be conducive to the stability of the boss's position and may imply fluidity and change.

The boss’s desk should not have a backing: Feng Shui has always emphasized having a backing at the back, a bright hall in front, a green dragon on the left, and a white tiger on the right. When we look at Feng Shui, we sometimes see that there is a window behind the boss's desk. If the desk is big and the window behind it is small, it can be fine. If the window behind is big and the desk is small, this feeling of unreality is very strong; In particular, the window behind the boss's desk cannot be lower than the desk surface, otherwise the boss's company will encounter many difficulties, such as sudden bad luck, etc.

Don’t make the boss’s desk face empty on three sides: that is to say, the bright hall of the boss’s desk can be wide, but the other two sides cannot be completely empty. In Figure 3, three sides are made of fiberglass walls. Although the view is spacious, the three sides are empty. Being weak, people are unstable and impetuous; prone to making overly radical decisions.

The size of the boss’s desk should be compatible with the size of the office: In Feng Shui, the principle of correspondence between people and homes is that what kind of house is suitable for what kind of people. Derived from this principle, all objects in the Feng Shui environment must match each other and be in their proper place. If an object is too abrupt, it will easily create evil spirits. In Figure 4, the office is too big and the desk appears to be too small, which easily makes the boss unable to control the development of the company. (In practice, we have also encountered situations where the boss’s desk is small and the employees’ desks are large. During business operations, it is difficult for the boss to mobilize employees; the relationship between employees and leadership is tense)

Many Feng Shui issues If we pay a little attention, we will actually feel it ourselves, because the quality of Feng Shui ultimately affects us. Modern business office buildings and corporate decoration are often entrusted to others. When we move into the office, we find that the unsatisfactory aspects are really great.
