Hey everyone! Today Ahu is going to recommend an awesome Liwan route to you! These are all the neighborhoods and shops that Lao Guang likes. Take a leisurely day shopping and experience the deepest Lao Guang style!
Let’s take the line first: Jinhuazhi Street-Longjin East Road-Liwan Lake Park-Lizhi Bay-Huangsha Metro?
Let’s start from Jinhuazhi Street and follow the Let’s take Longjin East Road. Then, we can go for a walk around Liwan Lake Park and Litchi Bay and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Finally, we can go directly to Huangsha subway station.
Please note that Xihua Road is crowded during holidays, so it is recommended to avoid the May Day holiday and weekends. Of course, if you have to satisfy your craving on Xihua Road, you can navigate to the nearby Xihua Meat and Vegetable Market. The atmosphere there is great, quiet, bustling with the city, and the alleys are very comfortable. And there are many delicious snacks you can try there! My personal recommendation is the Niu Lao Beef Offal Soup with three-star beef and offal. It is so delicious!
Walk slowly along Longjin East Road, and then go to Liwan Lake Park. I especially want to recommend a coffee shop to everyone, called Hardware! Really, the coffee there has a great reputation. I like drinking the cold brew in this store. It relieves the heat in summer better than anything else! Locals like to hang out there and have a coffee. By the way, the scenery of Liwan Lake Park itself is also beautiful.
If you are lucky enough, you can go to the original workshop to see if there are seats. Although you may have to wait about 15 minutes on weekends, you will find that the coffee and the scenery are a perfect match! After leaving Liwan Lake Park, we can take a walk around Litchi Bay. That area is all small alleys in residential areas, very quiet.
In the evening, if you see a chicken pot stall on the way, don’t hesitate to take a bite. You don’t need to refer to Dianping for Guangzhou’s Liwan Authentic Chicken Pot! Finally, we headed towards Huangsha Subway Station. There is my favorite restaurant opposite the subway station called Shuxia. Although the store is not big, the prices are not expensive, and their Yuanbei rice is so delicious that you can’t stop eating it.
