Zhelin Ancient Town is located in Yongxiu County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, in the northwest of Yongxiu County, on the north bank of Hexiu River, one of the five major rivers in Jiangxi Province. The main street in the town is the newly-built Zhelin Old Street, which is also the seat of Zhelin Town People's Government. The market town is under the jurisdiction of Zhelin Town Neighborhood Committee.
