American geomantic omen

Throughout the world, North America is a treasure trove of geomantic omen, with superior conditions, fertile land and excellent climate. However, it did not produce a strong civilization. Why?

As we all know, in the long road of human evolution, in addition to the tools we rely on for survival, the emergence of civilization has made up for the spiritual vacancy of human beings. People believe in their own civilization and regard it as the basis for survival. The difference between civilizations is largely due to the difference in living environment. In different living environments, people's thoughts are also changing subtly, which gives birth to our current global cultural differences.

On the other hand, there are strong and weak civilizations. Being located in a superior environment suitable for human survival, the naturally born civilization has more advantages and will prevail in the battle with other mutually exclusive civilizations, thus eliminating differences and further expanding civilization. What's the situation in North America?

The geographical conditions are indeed superior, but the civilization is relatively closed.

From the local geographical environment, the natural environment in North America is very superior. Whether it is fertile land or a climate suitable for human habitation, it provides natural convenience for local people, and the advantages of the plain make civilization spread better.

Unfortunately, however, the vast plains are easily divided by natural mountains. Although there are many kinds of local wild animals, they are difficult to tame, which greatly limits the scope of civilization. Human life in different regions is relatively closed, and their respective civilizations are naturally difficult to spread.

In addition, even in the excellent environment, because agricultural production and management can not achieve fundamental scale, the political power established by human beings has never been consolidated, which has led to the long-term tribal status of Indians living in North America.

Due to the backward production capacity, although there are many kinds of local crops, the fruits of their labor can only take into account their own food and clothing, and it is difficult to maintain stable trade between tribes. It is precisely because of this that independent civilizations cannot blend and develop with each other and naturally restrict each other.

Biological disadvantage is not suitable for the development of aquaculture.

Although in theory, once intelligent human beings discover domesticated animals and plants, they can plant or breed them on a large scale in a relatively short time, and then transport them to all corners of the world through trade or war chains, the biological disadvantages of North America are highlighted here.

Because there are few wild animals in North America that can be domesticated by humans, there is no way to reclaim land efficiently. Even though there are many materials, there are few animals that can be transported quickly on the vast plains.

For example, at that time, horses and camels in Asia were able to realize a certain sense of transportation, which could replace traditional manpower and promote the development of the whole civilization process. Even after Europeans introduced horses from Europe to North America, the advanced European civilization has obliterated the opportunity for the development of indigenous civilization in North America, and it is almost impossible for excellent North American civilization to appear in China.

The ancients' thoughts on land made productivity stagnate.

Civilizations in different regions bear different human spiritual thoughts and involve many elements of life or society. In the eyes of North American Indians at that time, land has always been their public property, and everyone has the right to use it, or land is the wealth given to each of them by nature.

Under the background of public ownership of land, there is no key point that can stimulate the productivity of the ancients. Compared with other civilizations, it is not difficult to find that private ownership of land is an element that often appears in the development of civilization. Only in this way can the development of civilization become rapid.

At this point, Indians obviously don't. After the western colonists opened the door to America, the local industrial structure has undergone earth-shaking changes, and the original agricultural production system has been transformed into a national industrial production system. Even though the original geographical environment and barrier conditions have not changed much, all this is no longer a problem because of the inflow of new tools.

The white people who conquered the American continent regarded land as personal private property, which changed the status quo of public ownership of land before. Their plunder of this rich land and their desire for wealth have to be said to have promoted local development in another sense. Because of this, the local resources in North America have been integrated, and some people even began to spread the things bred in this land to all parts of the world. It is difficult for the local emerging civilization to rise again.
