What is the significance of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway?

The 4000-meter-long railway line, the roof of the world, has three meanings: 1: economic significance, which will promote the economic and social development and prosperity of Xizang Autonomous Region. 2. National significance, promoting cultural exchanges between Tibetans and other ethnic groups, and strengthening national unity and integration. 3. National geostrategic significance, strengthen the bridgehead that exerts influence and strength on South Asia and Central Asia, and stabilize and guarantee energy security and national security! Compared with the first two points that everyone generally sees, the practical value and significance of the third point are really amazing!

The opening of the Qinghai-Tibet line has brought convenience to traffic and the military and political influence of the country on South Asia. At the same time, it has also brought a broad new market and new hope to the Chinese businessmen who are currently blocked by European and American countries. South Asia's huge population and sustained economic growth in recent years determine its huge market and purchasing potential. China businessmen have long paid too much attention to Europe and the United States and neglected the South Asian market. In fact, China's labor and production advantages are unmatched by India. Chinese business groups with small and medium strength and scale have a strong competitive advantage in the South Asian market. The Qinghai-Tibet Line has brought great business opportunities for China businessmen to enter the South Asian market.

The 90,000 square kilometers southwest of McMahon Line is an indelible pain in the hearts of China people. Many people who have never been to Tibet will think that Tibet has a bad climate and thin products, which are not suitable for mainlanders to live in. However, Tibet has such a treasure trove of geomantic omen. The virgin forest is comparable to Xishuangbanna, and the climate is humid and close to the south of the Yangtze River. The water resources reserve is equivalent to fourteen Gezhouba dams, which is 90,000 square kilometers occupied by India.

In the battle of 1962, we became the nominal winner. It is conceivable that at that time, * * * world leaders gave the order to let the troops retreat, and immediately gained the inner pain of the "emperor" in the world. Who doesn't value territory more than life? Every inch of rivers and mountains is gold! That retreat was really a last resort, and there was only one reason: the logistics supply couldn't keep up, and it couldn't compare with India with its back on the Great Plains. Fighting on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau means fighting for logistics. Without a strong logistics supply, even if it is occupied, it can't be kept. How about the Qinghai-Tibet and Kangzang highways? Not to mention heavy weapons and equipment, even food transportation is extremely difficult. What if I don't return it?

After the emergence of the illegal McMahon Line 19 14, according to the current international law, if the occupier has actually controlled the territory 100 years, it is regarded as a fait accompli and the occupation is effective. From 19 14 to 20 14, it is 100 year. In other words, if China can't recover the 90,000 square kilometers before 20 14, our children's primary school textbooks will say "the territory of China is 9.5 million square kilometers". Solving the territorial problem between China and India and recovering Taiwan Province Province and the South China Sea are the three major tasks of our army in the new period.

To solve the territorial problem between China and India, we must first solve the problem of logistics and transportation. The Central Military Commission has made up its mind to complete the Qinghai-Tibet Railway by 2007 at all costs. I really want to thank the hundreds of thousands of railway workers who completed the world's highest railway more than a year ahead of schedule. What we see on the news is that grain, vegetables and local products are transported in and out by train along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. What we didn't see was that tanks, armored vehicles, heavy artillery, a large number of weapons and equipment and troops entered Tibet along this railway. This railway has made India on the other side feel unprecedented pressure, and their so-called logistical advantages have been completely offset by the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.

At the negotiating table, Cui Tiankai's back is full of confidence because of this road. There are still eight years, just wait for this 90,000 square kilometers to return to my mother's arms. I have always believed that this day will definitely come back.
