Where is Yu?

I am located in Nancun Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou.

Yuyin Garden, also known as Yuyin Mountain Residence, was founded in A.D. 1867, and was in Tongzhi for six years. The garden covers an area of 1958 square meters and has a history of 130 years. The private gardens of Royal Wu Bin in Qing Dynasty are the representatives of Lingnan gardens, which are called the four major gardens of Lingnan together with Qinghui Garden, Keyuan Garden and Liangyuan Garden.

The layout of Yuyin Mountain House is very clever. The pavilions, halls, pavilions, bridges, dikes, mountains and rivers in the garden are all within a radius of 300 steps, which fully embodies the cultural characteristics of harmony between man and nature and shows the world view of harmony and unity between man and nature.

Introduction to the main scenic spots of lingering garden

1, good word Wu Gong Temple: Couplet: "Only filial piety can carry on the family line, and brothers are blind, so it is foreign-related; There is no way to keep the poetry books, and later generations know it well. Although it was not cultivated in Chinese, it was a reflection of clan culture. The plaques of "Yang Lie" and "Chanting Tomb" on both sides of the gate, the plaques of "Fengqi" and "Jiaoteng" in Qingyun Lane, the seals of the six countries on the gate of the ancestral temple, and the woodcarving decoration of the story figures on the list of gods are all manifestations of clan culture.

2. Deep Willow Hall: the meeting place of the garden owner, named after the Tang poem "My quiet door is a mountain path, and my hut is surrounded by willows", is the main building of Yuyin Mountain Residence, built on the mountain, with an open eaves gallery, and the courtyard steps outside the hall are straight through the water.

3. Sleeping in the ladle: The wind-fire wall building on the hard top of the mountain is a resting place for the owner and guests, and the window design is unique. The blinds in the back row can achieve the effect of ventilation and lighting by swinging the blades.
