What do you think of Heluo Book?

In ancient literature, there are records of the existence of "bird calendar" in ancient times. Historical records? The almanac says, "The past came from ancient times, and the calendar was built in Meng Chun. When it is frozen, the grass is flourishing. " "Birds come first" here refers to the relationship between birds and solar terms. The "bird calendar" is the October solar calendar. Scholars have studied the existence of the October solar calendar. In recent years, the archaeological discovery of the giant bronze sacred tree at Sanxingdui site in Chengdu, Sichuan, once again illustrates the existence of the "October solar calendar" in the form of physical objects. Here, we will not repeat the arguments of experts and scholars on the October solar calendar, but only explain it from two aspects: image thinking and image expression. The October solar calendar is a primitive ancient calendar. Its role in agriculture is far from being compared with that of the Eight Calendars. This calendar has nothing to do with astronomical phenomena. Mainly according to the four-hour position of the sun and the calendar form of migratory birds. From the image form of "the sun loses to the sun", we already know that the ancients expressed the movement of the sun and the changes of the four seasons' atmosphere through the characteristics of bird flight and migratory birds' migration with climate change. Therefore, birds have become symbols of the sun and the calendar. It became an expression of people's understanding of the law of balance between light and yin and yang in the Spring and Autumn Period. In the Yangshao culture period about 6,000 years ago, the ancient Pythagorean school of Fiona Fang mathematics had been produced (see Chapter 3). At this time, not only the concept of Yin and Yang already existed, but also the concept of Yin and Yang was used by our ancestors in mathematics. That is to say, the mathematical concept of yin and yang recorded in later literature is that even numbers are yin and odd numbers are yang. The October calendar is the solar calendar. Therefore, in mathematical expression, it also needs to be represented by positive numbers. Ten is even and yin. Therefore, the expression of the October solar calendar is based on the winter and summer solstice, and is represented by two five numbers. This is the so-called two-stage style. This can not only express the difference between yin and yang in the first half of the year, but also reflect the meaning that the October calendar is the solar calendar. The invention of vertical rod photogrammetry produced eight calendars. The eight-day calendar is also a solar calendar. Because the number eight is an even number, the length of eight days needs to be expressed in the way related to the October solar calendar. The combination of the eight-calendar and the October calendar is the October eighth solar calendar. In the jade unearthed from Hanshan site, we see the images of jade people, birds and pigs, which is the image expression of the ancient calendar method of October 8. Hanshan Jade Man is an image expression of eight sections produced by vertical pole measurement. This jade man is like the image of an ancient "passerby" (Figure 1- 1). He held his head high, followed Fu's method of "approaching all bodies", and took his own body as an example to teach the astronomical calendar knowledge passed down from generation to generation. "The circle of the head is like the sky, and the square of the foot is like the ground" (Huai Nan Zi). Spiritual training). Jade wears a hat on her head, which symbolizes that the sky is like a hat. A slightly square face symbolizes the champion of the Big Dipper [5]. The north celestial pole where Dou Kui Xuan Ji is located is the center of the "Gary" in the sky. This is a concept that has existed since the Fu era. The upright body of the Jade Man symbolizes an eight-foot moustache with the same height as the human body. Bearded watches are also called standard watches. The standard pattern carved on the jade man's arm symbolizes the determination of eight calendars by measuring the shadow of the vertical pole. Jade people stretch out their hands, with five fingers in each hand, which means five months in the first half and five months in the second half, which means the October solar calendar. The ancestors of Hanshan site vividly expressed the ancient view of covering the sky, measuring shadows, eight calendars and October solar calendar through the images of jade people. The jade bird unearthed from Hanshan ancient cultural site is a composite image (figure 1-2). It is also the concept of covering the sky and the image form of solar calendar10.8. The head of the bluebird symbolizes the celestial pole. The left and right wings are carved into the shape of a pig's head, symbolizing Beidou. The ancient ancestors of China used pigs (tapirs) to symbolize the practice of Beidou. The wings of two pigs spread from left to right, which is not only the image of birds flying, but also the image of bucket handle. Bucket handle refers to the east-west direction, symbolizing the timing function of Beidou running around the north celestial pole. Bucket handle is to the east and bucket handle is to the west, indicating the vernal equinox. The jade bird spreading its wings and flying is the image of "the sun loses to the sun" and the image form of the October solar calendar. There is an octagonal figure in the middle of the bluebird's body. It is a schema of the ancient people expressing eight calendars. Putting the August calendar schema symbolizing the October solar calendar on the Jade Bird not only shows that the August calendar is a solar calendar, but also shows the close relationship between the August calendar and the October solar calendar. Second, the octagon is a schema of eight calendars, and the vertical rod measurement produces eight calendars. There are eight kinds of calendars, and then eight kinds of calendar schema of octagon are formed. Therefore, the octagonal calendar pattern is the product of vertical rod measurement. The relationship between octagonal calendar schema and vertical rod measurement has long been expressed by the ancients. Among the cultural relics unearthed at Tangjiagang Neolithic Site in Anxiang, Hunan Province, there is an octagonal pattern [6] carved at the bottom of Tao Pan at M 1: 1 (Figure 1-3). In the square dovetail corner of Figure 4, there are two people facing each other, with a table pole and a table shadow in the middle, as if doing a vertical pole survey. In the included angle of the four corners, there are birds flying above the horizon, which symbolizes that the sun shines in the sky and expresses the direction from winter to summer. It just echoes the decorative pattern measured by the vertical rod. The images and figures of this vertical rod survey can still be seen on the bronze mirror of Han Dynasty unearthed in Chengdu, Sichuan [7].
