Growth conditions of common tropical and subtropical temperate fruits and natural rubber

Tropical fruits: coconut, litchi, mango, Taiwan Province jujube, jackfruit, carambola, longan, wampee, etc.

There are many kinds of subtropical fruits, mainly citrus, longan, litchi, pineapple, mango and banana.

Temperate fruits: apples, pears, oranges, etc.

Growth conditions of natural rubber:

Latitude: By the early 1980s, China had established natural rubber production bases mainly in Hainan Island and Xishuangbanna. In addition, rubber planting has been successful in some selected areas in Guangxi and Fujian, which are close to 25 degrees north latitude. In the early 1980s, rubber trees were finally planted in the north of north latitude 17 degrees, which was a major breakthrough in international natural rubber production. The rubber planting countries in the world are all located near the equator, north of south latitude 10 and south of north latitude 15. The international authority of glue planting has always believed that the north of north latitude 17 degrees is not suitable for planting glue.

Climate: It is a typical tropical tree species that likes high temperature and rainy, calm and fertile soil.

Three. Technology: The main technical measures are:

1. Select the appropriate rubber plantation, divide the environmental types and match the varieties. Aiming at the two limiting factors of rubber planting in China: low temperature and typhoon, the adaptability of rubber trees to environmental conditions was studied. Different rubber planting areas are divided into large, medium and small environmental types, and different varieties are configured in each type area.

2. Breeding disease-resistant and high-yield varieties. At present, the wind-resistant variety Haiken 1 and the cold-resistant variety 93- 1 14 have been popularized in production, and the latter has a short-term low temperature of MINUS one degree.

3. Wind-resistant and cold-resistant cultivation techniques. Wind-resistant cultivation technology is to choose different sizes of shelterbelts, trim and shape them, and plant them reasonably close; Cold-resistant cultivation techniques mainly include ditch seedling raising, overwintering by bud grafting with stems, drought-resistant planting in early spring of next year, wide row and close planting, etc.

4. Rubber picking technology suitable for northern planting. According to the climatic characteristics of different rubber planting areas in China, the rubber picking technology combining tube, tillage and cutting and the dynamic analysis of rubber production were implemented.
