Wugong Temple 1

Wugong Temple is 4 kilometers southeast of Haikou City. It was built in the 15th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1889) to commemorate Li Deyu, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty, and Li Gang, Li Guang, Hu Quan and Zhao Ding, heroes of the Song Dynasty exiled to Hainan. Wugong Temple has a building area of 450 square meters, and its main building, the first building in Hainan, is a typical single-bucket archway with wooden structure in Qing Dynasty.

2. Sugong Temple

Sugong Temple is in Wugong Temple. Originally Jinsu Temple. Su Shi (Dongpo), a writer in the Northern Song Dynasty, was demoted as an official. Born four years less (1097), he was demoted to another family in Qiongzhou and later joined the Changhua Army. In the forty-five years of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (16 17), the Sugong Temple was established in the former site of Jin Su 'an as a memorial. Later, because of the worship of his younger brother Su Zhe, it was also called Sur Temple. The temple faces south, and there are two stone lions in front.

The banner at the door reads "Su Gong Temple" in three Chinese characters. There is a couplet in the ancestral hall: "This place is an eye-opener. Who can compare with Meishan? " There is a stone statue of Su Shi in the hall, which is lifelike. The museum also displays more than 20 rubbings of Su Shi's poems and other rubbings. On the west side of Sugong Temple is Wugong Temple; On the east side is Qiongyuan Garden, with caves, pavilions, floating Su Quan and Xixinxuan. They were all named by Su Shi.

3. Bell and Drum Stone

Zhong Gushi is at the top of Hero Mountain in the southeast of Longhai Hotel in Haikou City. Also known as the sun stone, it is shaped like a huge drum. While knocking, the sound is like a drum and the turbidity is like thunder; While knocking, the sound is like a bell, crisp and exciting.

4. Rachel's Tomb

Rachel's Tomb is located in Shuitou Village 10 km south of Haikou City. Rachel (14 18 or 1420- 1495) was born in Qiongshan, Guangdong (now Hainan). Famous minister of Ming dynasty, official of the Ministry of Rites, and university student of Wuyingdian. The cemetery was built at Hongzhi No.8 in Ming Dynasty (1495), covering an area of 2,500 square meters. There is a memorial archway in front of the tomb, with the words "a famous official of Neo-Confucianism" written on it. The main tomb is made of stone (not capped). There are two monuments in front of the tombstone, and the other is the imperial edict of the Ming Dynasty.

5. Hairui Cemetery

Hairui Cemetery is located in Binya Village in the western suburb of Haikou City. It was built in the 17th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1589), covering an area of about 5,000 square meters. Hai Rui (15 14- 1587), a famous minister in Ming Dynasty, was born in Zhujili, the capital of Qiongshan City, and served as an official in Nanjing. As an honest official, he is called "Blue Sky" and "Bao Zheng at Sea".

After being demoted to Qiongzhou, he died in Qiongzhou. It is said that Harry's coffin suddenly broke when it was transported here. It is said that Harry chose the land of Feng Shui and should be buried here. The memorial arch at the entrance of the cemetery is engraved with the four characters "Aodong Zhengqi". The entrance is paved with granite tunnels leading to Harry's tomb. Throughout the ages, these tombs have been restored.
