Wealth, peace and prosperity are the bottom line, posted on the left side of the gate.
One of the characteristics of couplets is to pay attention to levelness. The last word of the first couplet is usually a hyphen, and the last word of the second couplet is usually a flat voice, otherwise it often feels awkward to read. For example, I have lived happily in a treasure land for thousands of years ("prosperity" is a silent voice), and everything at home is very prosperous ("prosperity" is a silent voice).
Five ways to distinguish upper and lower couplets;
1, press left and right.
When pasting couplets, the upper couplet is pasted on the right, the lower couplet is pasted on the left, and the left and right are bounded by the gate or pilaster.
2. In chronological order
The first time is the upper part, and the last time is the lower part; For example, "the door welcomes the blessings of spring, summer, autumn and winter, and the house embraces the east, west, north and south", "the yard grows flowers all the year round, and the door is full of fun for the whole family".
3. According to language habits.
For example, "I am as happy as the flowing water in the East China Sea, and my life expectancy is longer than that in the South Mountain", "The wind blows the willows green, and the rain adorns the apricots with red flowers". We are used to saying "share life and death" and "share joys and sorrows".
4. According to causality.
"Cause" is the upper part and "effect" is the lower part. For example, "spring is coming, and you are beaming."
5, according to the scope of the scene.
From the perspective of time, space and specific things, it is generally from big to small, with big upside down and small upside down. For example, "every year, the full moon is full of people", "a city is full of flowers and rain, and the courtyard is full of spring breeze."
