What's the use of relics to people?

In fact, for ordinary people, relics are not particularly useful. Just a proof of a monk's practice. It can't be eaten or used as an ornamental. For ordinary people, relics are really useless.

However, in order to show respect for Taoist priests, there are also some temples that collect relics and then offer them to encourage disciples to practice hard.

At present, there is no definite conclusion about the cause of the remains, and most of the explanations are only inferred according to the existing scientific principles, just like the white remains are bones, the black remains are hair, and the red remains are muscles.

The so-called relic is an Indian language. In the past, the dead remains of Indians were usually called relics. Now, the word remains contains a wider range of contents. It not only refers to the remains of some Buddhas or Buddhist monks after their death, but also includes some hair or nails shaved by Buddhist monks before their death, as well as their teeth before their death.

There are 22 relics, which are considered as the relics of the Buddha's skull according to the medical point of view. These cultural relics were discovered by Indian archaeologists in 1972 in an ancient pagoda believed to have been built by Ashoka near Nepal in northwest India (which was once the residence of ancient Sakyamuni people). It can be seen that any "relic" unlike human remains is a fake.
