Fang Jie feng mai Dan plus fructus psoraleae, cortex cinnamomi and Herba Asari. This is what Professor Du learned from Wu's experience in Yunnan. In the prescription, Cinnamomum cassia is used to strengthen the function of inducing fire to return to the original, absorbing qi to return to the kidney, and psoralea corylifolia is used to warm the kidney, because the evil of the kidney is dry, but the moistening one is only pungent. Psoralea corylifolia can absorb the essence of the five internal organs and return to the kidney, benefiting the kidney and filling the essence. However, asarum can communicate with the heart and kidney, so that the deficiency of yang can reach the foot-shaoyin kidney meridian through the heart meridian of hand, and the excess of yang can be stored in the kidney. Therefore, the effect of absorbing qi and returning to kidney is better than that of the original prescription.

Fang Jie feng mai Dan plus yam. Professor Du imitates Jing Yue's "New Square Eight Arrays" to consolidate the secret yuan decoction method. Where yin and yang are important, the secret of yang is solid. Zhang Xichun said that yam can nourish yin, promote diuresis, be smooth and astringent, so it can tonify lung, kidney and spleen and stomach. Yam can tonify both qi and yin, and one medicine can be used for three preparations. In sealing Medulla, it can contain floating yang, transport spleen and consolidate body fluid, so that body fluid can be generated, distributed and metabolized normally. Modern people often see hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, fatty liver and other diseases. World doctors refer to modern pharmacology, or use phlegm, or use blood circulation, or use catharsis, and some results are not good. Professor Du believes that the root of this kind of disease lies in the laxity of Yuan Yang, the weakness of promoting healthy qi and the non-normalization of body fluid.

The tongue is reddish, with rich white and greasy fur, partially peeled off, slightly larger body, and thready pulse. Prescription: Radix Codonopsis 3g, Rhizoma Dioscoreae 5g, Cortex Phellodendri 1g, Fructus Amomi 2g and Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata 3g, decocted in water, one dose per day. After 2 doses, blood sugar was controlled. After 9 doses, fatty liver disappeared and blood lipid returned to normal.
Huiyang Fengmeidan
Prescribed aconite root (fried first), Radix Codonopsis and Fructus Psoraleae each 3g, Cortex Cinnamomi (fried in salt water) 1g, Cortex Phellodendri (fried in salt water) 5g, Fructus Amomi Sativae (fried later), Rhizoma Zingiberis Preparata and Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata 2g. Decoct with water, 1 dose per day.
Fang Jie feng mai Dan is added with radix aconiti lateralis preparata, cortex cinnamomi, atractylodis Rhizoma, Rhizoma anemarrhenae and mume butterfly. Zheng treated low back pain and hair spots with Feng Medulla Dan, which was said to be pungent and sweet. But its power to support the yang is weak after all. Therefore, Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata and Cinnamomum cassia are added to the prescription to tonify kidney yang, Atractylodes macrocephala to tonify spleen yang, Anemarrhena asphodeloides to enhance the function of nourishing yin of Cortex Phellodendri, and Butterflies to attract yang into yin. Although some arthralgia patients have local redness, swelling and heat pain, they also see dry mouth and pharynx and yellow urine. Professor Du believes that its pathogenesis is that yang deficiency and fire do not return to the original cause and show local heat. If it is misdiagnosed as heat arthralgia, or the method of clearing away heat or dispersing exterior is tantamount to adding insult to injury. Professor Du used the experience of Lu Chonghan's "Notes on Fuyang" for reference, and applied Huiyang Fengmeidan to patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and Sjogren's syndrome, which often achieved a permanent cure.

The tongue is reddish, the fur is yellow and greasy, and the pulse is heavy and thin. Prescription: Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (fried first), Radix Codonopsis, Fructus Psoraleae each 3g, Cortex Cinnamomi (fried in salt water) 1g, Cortex Phellodendri (fried in salt water) 5g, Fructus Sha Mianwen (fried in salt water), Rhizoma Zingiberis Preparata and Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata 2g. Decoct with water, 1 dose per day. After taking 4 doses of medicine, the burning sensation and pain in the affected area were relieved, and sleep and sweat were improved.
qianyangfengmedan

Fang Jie feng mai Dan is added with codonopsis pilosula, tortoise plastron, Achyranthes bidentata, Eucommia ulmoides, Alisma orientalis and Salvia miltiorrhiza. Zheng used Fengmedan to treat headache. Inspired by Fei Boxiong's Jiawei Sancai Decoction for the treatment of pathogenic fire, Professor Du named it Qian Yang Feng Medulla Pill with a slight addition and subtraction. The formula contains the meaning of Qian Yang Dan, which is used to treat hypertension and cerebral arteriosclerosis caused by kidney deficiency and wind-fire fan. Its function is to absorb qi and return it to kidney, and to suppress yang and stop wind. This recipe is different from Zhengan Xifeng Decoction, which simply nourishes yin and calms the wind, because it consolidates yang when nourishing yin, which embodies the secret principle of Yin and Pingyang, and can be described as another method of subduing yang.
