Speaking of the ancient towns in Shanghai, we think of the "Zhujiajiao Ancient Town". Since the place where we work is in the Qingpu District of Shanghai, and the ancient town belongs to the Qingpu District, I have no choice but to go shopping. For me, a native of Jiangxi, I have been to too many ancient towns. The ancient towns in my impression are all kinds of food, handicrafts, and gadgets. Different degrees of commercial atmosphere.
Why go to the ancient town?
I like the smell of the ancient town. Every time I am in the ancient town, I feel very leisurely, strolling among the small bridges and flowing water, and walking on the antique bluestone slabs.
There is no fun place around. There is no fun at all around the Qingpu area. A trip to the city takes 2 hours, but a trip to Zhujiajiao only takes 1 hour.
It is convenient to go to the ancient town. There is a bus directly to "Zhujiajiao" in front of where you live. You can directly swipe your card and get on the bus to the terminal station, which is "Zhujiajiao".
Zhujiajiao belongs to the Qingpu District of Shanghai. It is almost impossible for outsiders to come to Zhujiajiao because there are too many famous ancient towns in the surrounding area, such as "Zhouzhuang" and "Tongli". Ancient towns such as "Luzhi", "Wuzhen" and "Xitang" are all in the surrounding area.
Basically all depart from Shanghai. From Shanghai to Zhujiajiao, take a bus to Xujingdong, then transfer to the "Zhu-Xu Line" and get off at the terminal, Zhujiajiao. . (I heard that this line will not be running when the subway opens later).
By subway, first take the bus to Hongqiao Railway Station, then transfer to Metro Line 17, and get off at Zhujiajiao Station. After arriving at Zhujiajiao Station, it is still more than one kilometer away from the ancient town. You can take a taxi, ride a bicycle or walk there. There are many ways to get there.
Zhujiajiao? There is no need for tickets to visit the ancient town. You can walk in directly. The so-called tickets refer to some attractions in the ancient town that require additional tickets.
Tickets for visiting ancient town attractions are divided into three prices: 80 yuan, 60 yuan and 30 yuan.
The 80 yuan ticket includes eight major attractions in the ancient town: Kezhi Garden, Shanghai Quanhua Watercolor Art Museum, Yuanjin Zen Temple, Handicraft Museum, Chenghuang Temple, Daqing Post Office, Tongtianhe Medicine Hall, Museum of Humanities and Arts. Plus a cruise.
The difference between 60 yuan and 80 yuan is that 60 yuan only includes tickets for the eight major attractions, and does not include cruise ships.
30 yuan ticket: only includes the four major attractions Kezhi Garden, Daqing Post Office, Tongtianhe Medicine Hall, and Humanities and Art Museum.
Tickets can be purchased one day in advance on major travel websites and redeemed at the ticket office on the same day.
My tour route is to enter from the south entrance of the scenic spot---release hall---North Street---Daxin Street---Zhongguanyin Bridge---Yongfeng Bridge- --Caohe Street---Chenghuang Temple---Yuanjin Zen Temple---Taian Bridge---North Street---Fangsheng Bridge---Dongjing Street---Xijing Street---Kezhi Garden- -- Yong'an Bridge --- Dongjing Street --- Fangsheng Bridge --- South Exit of the Scenic Area
Fangsheng Bridge is located in Zhujiajiao Town, spanning Caogang. It was built during the Wanli Period of the Ming Dynasty (1573- 1620) built. Rebuilt in the 17th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1812), Fangsheng Bridge embodies the wisdom of the ancient working people, which can be seen in its design and structure. Fangsheng Bridge is a five-hole stone arch bridge, not a flat bridge or a single-hole stone arch bridge. As the longest, largest and highest five-hole double arch bridge in Shanghai, it is called the "No. 1 Bridge in Shanghai".
Walking on the Fangsheng Bridge, you can see the clear sky in the distance, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds. On the left side of the Fangsheng Bridge is a row of restaurants, facing the lake, you can feel the beautiful scenery, so lively. Cozy; on the right side of Fangsheng Bridge is a row of sightseeing platforms, which are all shops along the street. You can see the wild Fangsheng Bridge from the sightseeing platform.
Walking along North Street is full of food. It can be said that this is a gathering place for foodies.
North Street, also known as "First-line Street", is known as "the first street in Ming and Qing Dynasties in Shanghai". It has a history of more than 400 years and is more than two miles long, starting from the east. Fangsheng Bridge, more than 300 meters west to Meizhou Lane, is the most representative architectural essence of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Here, old-style houses are lined up in rows, with whitewashed walls and gray tiles scattered in an orderly manner. Narrow streets lead to seclusion, stone paths are winding, and old and famous shops are lined on both sides, showing a picture of the ancient "Jiangnan" water town style.
Beijing Street is backed by the Caogang River and next to the Fangsheng Bridge. As early as the early days of the formation of the ancient town, it was convenient for water and land transportation, so merchants gathered and "traded better than other towns." Teahouses, restaurants, north-south groceries, and Mihang butcher shops are all available, making it the oldest commercial center that has flourished for a century. It is sometimes known as "a three-mile long street with thousands of shops." Today, there is still a century-old shop "Handalong Sauce Garden" on the street, and the ancient style still exists; a century-old hotel "Maosun Restaurant", a newly opened old shop; "Ancient Town Old Teahouse", the best in the suburbs of Shanghai; traditional handicraft workshop shop, categories Complete; antiques, ceramics, flowers and birds, calligraphy and painting, local products, handicrafts, specialty snack bars, everything is dazzling. Shops all over the street are fluttering in the wind, and red lanterns are hung high, creating a prosperous scene.
Looking at the people passing by me in a hurry, in fact, when we get here, we can slow down a little, slow down a little, and don't have to rush just to rush.
You walk slowly through time. Walking on the streets, time flows past you inadvertently. Even under the hot sun, you never stop for a moment.
Crossing North Street and continuing to walk forward is Daxin Street. Compared with the bustling and crowded North Street, Daxin Street seems quiet and cool. There are no people along the way, so you just You can stroll in the small streets, forget about time, and look for the unknown.
Yongfeng Bridge spans the river and connects East and West Lake Streets. It was built in the seventh year of Tianqi (1627) in the Ming Dynasty and is also known as Yongfeng Bridge. When the bridge was built, local residents expected to always have enough food and clothing, so it was named Yongfeng Bridge. Yongfeng Bridge. The base of Yongfeng Bridge is made of bricks, and the bridge deck is paved with stone strips to form a masonry structure. The bridge looks ordinary and old, but it is a witness to the history of Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. The previous stone slab was blown up by bombs dropped by Japanese aircraft in 1937, which became a painful memorial.
There are antique cafes on both sides of the Yongfeng Bridge. When walking here, I feel like I have entered a small corner of the ancient city of Lijiang. The rich colors are reflected on both sides, which makes me feel My footsteps stopped here unconsciously, always wanting to come here when I have free time, order a cup of coffee, bask in the sun, and enjoy a comfortable life.
There are small literary B&Bs everywhere beside the Yongfeng Bridge. If you want to stay at night, this place is the best choice. It is very quiet and far away from the noisy places, giving you a quiet place. night. Moreover, Zhujiajiao is not as noisy at night as other ancient towns. At night, the tourists disperse and the rest is quiet. The quiet Zhujiajiao is its true appearance.
You look at the scenery on the bridge,
The people watching the scenery look at you on the terrace~
It is very nice to see a door handle.
Zhujiajiao? One of the business cards of the ancient town. It was built in 1903 and is the only former post office site of the Qing Dynasty preserved in East China.
The renovated post office maintains its original formal layout. The two-story building covers an area of ??about 100 square meters, recreating the centuries-old vicissitudes of the ancient town post office and showing the long history of China Post.
I saw a fresh and artistic place. It would be beautiful to take portraits here.
There are many small literary and artistic scenes along the way. If you have time, if you are interested, please slow down your pace and slowly experience each scene along the way. In fact, everyone goes to the same place. The feelings are different. In fact, it depends on what kind of mentality and mood you use to look at it.
The small bridges everywhere reflect the atmosphere of the water town.
The Zhujiajiao City God's Temple is the City God's Palace in Qingpu. In the 28th year of Qianlong's reign (1763), Cheng Luji, a native of Huizhou, moved to this site. In the middle of the temple are the head gate, the stage and the main hall, with verandas on both sides. There is Xiaoqu River beside it. Peaches, plums and willows can be seen everywhere. The layout is elegant and there are 12 scenic spots. The top of the stage consists of 160 brackets forming a circular roof, which is very rare. On the stone pillars on both sides are embedded the couplets "It's been a long time to build the platform, it's a dream to watch the past" and the banner "Ode to Peace".
The Zhujiajiao City God's Temple was a palace in Qingpu where Emperor Qianlong lived in the south of the Yangtze River. There is also a beautiful legend. The most amazing thing is that there is a big abacus above the temple. The beads are clearly visible, and it feels like an iron abacus. The temple has the same temple layout as in the past. The old people in the town would often go in on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar month to burn incense and worship Buddha to protect the safety of their families.
There is a bridge in front of the Chenghuang Temple called Chenghuang Bridge. The most hand-operated boats pass here. You will often see tourists taking awning boats to get off here. There is a pier next to it.
Yuanjin Zen Temple is one of the twelve scenic spots in Qinghua Pavilion. It was built in the Yuan Dynasty and is located on the Caogang River. There is a statue of the Virgin Mary of Chenzhou in the temple, so it is also called the "Empress Temple". ". The current Yuanjin Zen Monastery was rebuilt later. The door is small, but there is a different world after stepping through the door. Although the Zen courtyard faces the street, it is quiet, simple and antique. The structure of the courtyard is small and there are not many Buddha statues, but they are all carefully carved, dazzling and solemn. The Qinghua Pavilion at the back of the courtyard is even more famous. It is not only a place where celebrities and scholars collect calligraphy and paintings, but also has a beautiful environment. Climb up to the top of the building and you can have a panoramic view of the Zhuxi scenery. The Zen Yuan has been an important cultural relics store in history. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, many literati and refined scholars have come here in admiration. The Zen Yuan has become a gathering place for literati during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
After completing the circle, you will return to Fangsheng Bridge. Crossing Fangsheng Bridge is Dongjing Street.
The old food stamps seen on Dongjing Street.
?Crossing Dongjing Street is Xijing Street.
Zen Master Yuanjin was seen in the distance, and the boatman of the awning boat could be seen rowing hard, swinging left and right.
There is a "Ke Zhi Garden" on the side of Xijing Street
The Ke Zhi Garden is located in the northwest of Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. It is the largest garden building in the local area and has small bridges in the garden. Flowing water and a view at every step are the most worth visiting paid attractions in the ancient town, and the environment is quiet. Kezhi Garden was founded in 1912 and took 15 years to complete. It was once the private residence of local wealthy businessman Ma Wenqing. Many of the design structures and decorative building materials used in this garden are a combination of Chinese and Western styles, which is a unique feature of Kezhi Garden. The gate of Kezhi Garden faces the water alley. The entrance may look ordinary, but there is something special inside, especially after passing through several halls, you will see the huge garden. The classroom garden is divided into two parts: the classroom garden and the planting garden. The classroom garden is the living and learning area where the owner's family once lived, and the planting garden is the entertainment and farming area. The word "LESSON" means "don't forget to cultivate after studying in class", which expresses the "peaceful" mentality of the owner of the garden who cultivates, studies and manages the family.
