Is it true to dig 17 meters to find the tomb and build a museum with funerary objects?

After Qin Shihuang unified the six countries, he ordered to March into Lingnan and Baiyue, which is now Guangdong and Guangxi. In 2 19 BC, the first emperor sent Tusui, the chief commander, and Zhao Tuo, the deputy chief commander. Unexpectedly, the Lord was killed in the battle, leaving only the lieutenant Zhao Tuo.

What is even more unexpected is that Zhao Tuo learned that the State of Qin had perished, and after Liu Bang established the Han Dynasty, he led the troops to carve up the land of Baiyue. From then on, Zhao Tuo ascended the throne and established the later Nanyue State. At the same time, Zhao Tuo became a vassal state of Liu Bang in the Han Dynasty.

In the history of South Vietnam in the Western Han Dynasty, Zhao Tuo lived 103 and ruled South Vietnam for 67 years. In such a long time, Zhao Tuo developed local economy and maintained its rule, while building its own mausoleum.

It is said that in his last decades, he has been secretly arranging to build his own mausoleum. In order to prevent the tomb from being stolen after death, Zhao Tuo sent a confidant minister to dig mountains and graves outside Panyu, and dug up dozens of tombs, large and small, as suspected tombs of Zhao Tuo.

After Zhao Tuo's death, a grand funeral was held. First, send people to guard the mountains around Panyu City, and then send four teams with the same scale to different burial sites. This method is enough to confuse the world.

In addition, with dozens of suspected burial sites before, Zhao Tuo cemetery has become a huge mystery, but the more mysterious, the more grave robbers will ponder. Since then, Zhao Tuo's tomb has been coveted by grave robbers for more than two thousand years.

However, since 2000, Zhao Tuo's tomb has never been found. Until June 1983, a construction team was engaged in infrastructure construction in xianggangshan. The original plan to build an apartment building was blocked by a hillside nearly 50 meters, and it was planned to be dug up.

Dozens of construction team members worked all night, and the project progressed smoothly. During this period, several ancient tombs were dug up, including those of Han dynasty, modern times and even Ming dynasty. This hillside seems to be a treasure trove of geomantic omen, and the construction workers are also cautious.

Just as the construction team was digging to the hillside 17 meters, one day at noon, the excavator found a square boulder and dug it around. It is still a boulder. These boulders are arranged neatly with a small gap in the middle, like a paved floor.

The construction team thought that so many tombs had been dug before, and now there will be no more tombs at the depth of 17 meters, so they boldly removed the stone with an excavator and found a big black hole under the stone, so they quickly reported to the cultural relics staff.

Then the staff of Guangzhou Cultural Relics Bureau rushed to the scene to investigate. The staff went down to the black hole to see. Judging from the funerary objects they saw, this is an ancient tomb of the Western Han Dynasty. At that time, archaeologists thought that Zhao Tuo's tomb had been discovered and were very excited.

Then the scene was sealed off for excavation. With the excavation of Emperor Wendi's jubilee tomb and the discovery of other funerary objects, experts learned that this tomb belonged to Zhao Tuo, the grandson of the second generation of Zhao Mei, the king of South Vietnam, and contained more than 654.38+00000 funerary objects.

So a museum was set up above the cemetery to store unearthed cultural relics. The discovery of Zhao Tuo Sun Tomb, also known as one of the five major archaeological discoveries in China, is of great significance.
