Mashan county belongs to Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, located in the west of central Guangxi, south bank of the middle section of Hongshui River and north foot of Daming Mountain. The development of history
195 1 February, Wuming District was revoked and placed in Nanning District (later renamed Binyang District).
195 1 June, Longshan and Nama counties merged into mashan county, and the county name was composed of the word "horse" in Nama and the word "mountain" in Longshan. The county seat is located in Chengxiang Town (now Baishan Town) of Longshan County, which was officially opened in July 1 year and belongs to Binyang Special Zone.
1958, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was abolished and Yongning Department was established, and mashan county was led by Yongning Department. In the same year, it was changed to Nanning Commissioner's Office 1 1.
