Landform: Du 'an is one of the most typical karst landforms in China. Its scenery is beautiful, magnificent and diverse. Rock springs in the mountains are like mirrors, and streams are picturesque; The grotesque rocks are magnificent, with unique scenery and extraordinary mountains and rivers, full of charm and emotional appeal of Dashishan Township.
Natural scenery resources: The county is famous for its grotesque caves and karst landforms. 1986 and 1987, more than 20 people from the royal British expedition visited the cave twice. According to the information provided by the Sino-British joint cave expedition, "caves have the advantages of constant temperature, constant humidity and low noise, and are ideal and suitable places for warehouses, hospitals and scientific research institutes, and it is also good to open up tourist attractions." Among them: Lion Rock, Chin Cave and Qiaoleng Tunnel.

Mineral resources: The minerals found in Du 'an are coal, copper, antimony, mercury, iron, manganese, gold, silver, fluorite, pyrite, phosphate rock, crystal, agate, colored stone (black marble and white marble), limestone (limestone for cement, limestone for building stone, limestone for ash making and limestone for calcium carbide) and clay (clay for cement ingredients and clay for bricks and tiles). Among them, coal mine and limestone are the dominant minerals in Du 'an, and mining has formed a certain scale. Coal mine, the county's proven reserves (and approved into the regional mineral reserves table) 28.788 million tons. Limestone distributed in most areas of the county can be described as "inexhaustible", with good quality and high grade, which can be used as raw materials for chemical industry, metallurgy and building materials industry. In addition, the D-level reserve of white marble is 932,800 cubic meters, which has great development potential. After the colored stones are processed and carved into handicrafts, they are simple and elegant, unique and sell well at home and abroad.
Animal and plant resources: There are many wild animals in Du 'an Yao Autonomous County.
Animals include: monkeys, wild dogs, wild boar, wild cats, rabbits, civets, yellow cats, otters, wild goats, musk deer, squirrels, voles, flying squirrels, foxes, mountain torrents, marmots and so on.
Reptiles include: gecko, snail, pangolin, golden ring snake, silver ring snake, mountain snake, hundred-step snake, white snake, three-line snake, south snake, tree dragon and so on.
Amphibians have many kinds of frogs; Birds include partridge, turtledove, hairy chicken, oriole, hairy eagle, cuckoo, thrush, crow, starling, pheasant, mandarin duck, cuckoo, sparrow, magpie, lark, Ganzhu bird and so on.
Natural river fish include tongyu, herring, Qixingyu, small oil fish, loach, eel, sickle fish, catfish, etc., as well as soft-shelled turtle, soft-shelled turtle, crab, mussel and shrimp. Among them, civet cats, geckos, musk deer, pangolins and snakes are all precious wild animals.
