Xia Hai Hairui's ancestral home is located 70 kilometers away from the middle line of the sea, and the ancestor Hai Gong of the Ming Dynasty was buried at the foot of the mountain. Shixia Village in Xinxing Town is the birthplace of Hai Rui, a loyal minister of Ming Dynasty. Up to now, there are still four tombs of Hai ancestors: the tomb of Hai Gong in Ming Taizu (the tomb of Hai Da Er Zu), the tomb of Wu, a Confucian scholar in Ming Dynasty (the tomb of the mother of Yilong in the eighth century), the tomb of Hai, and the tomb of the mother of Taixie sealed by the mother of Hai Zhongjie (the tomb of the mother of Hai Rui).
Harry was born in 15 15. He lost his father in his early years and was raised by his mother Xie. I have developed an upright and upright character since I was a child, and I am honored as "Hai Qingtian". There are also some legends about Hai Rui circulating in Shixia Village. One said that a year before Harry was born, a Feng Shui gentleman passed Harry's house and was warmly received by Harry's parents. Appreciated, Mr. Feng Shui asked Harry's father, "Do you want a generation of loyal ministers or nine generations of prime ministers?" Harry's father thought that it was glorious to have nine generations of prime ministers, but it was difficult to guarantee that none of them would be treacherous, so that they would not lose face to the family? He replied: "It is enough to produce a generation of loyal ministers that will be remembered by future generations forever!" So, Mr. Feng Shui took Harry's father to find a piece of land and asked him to move away and bury his ancestors' graves here. The following year, Harry was born. The legend is not completely credible, but it reflects that Harry's father has the quality of not going with the flow and pursuing moral perfection, which has a certain influence on the formation of Harry's integrity and honesty.
The sea cemetery is located on the hillside south of the village. There is a stone tablet, about two meters high, engraved with "Ming Taizu Hailing". According to the old man in Shixia Village, the Hairui family is a noble family, and the five ancient tombs of their ancestral home were well preserved before the Cultural Revolution. At that time, there were still dogs, horses, musicians and stones around the mausoleum. In particular, the tombstone of Harry's mother's tomb is 5 meters high and half a meter wide, which is very imposing. At present, there are only stone-carved kettles and water bottles left on the ruins of the ancient tomb, and Xie's tombstone has been split in half, and the middle part has disappeared, leaving only two pieces lying in the grass.
Before liberation, the descendants of the Hai family rode horses from Qiongshan every year to collect land rent and worship their ancestors. In the 1970s, descendants of the Hai family came from Qionghai to worship their ancestors and lived in his home. The villagers in Shixia village also worship this loyal minister very much. During their stay in Tomb-Sweeping Day, villagers spontaneously went to five ancient tombs to sweep graves and offer sacrifices. Some villagers also put statues of Harry and his ancestors at home for worship.
As the birthplace of a generation of loyal officials, Shixia Village has a long history, is an important historical relic of Tunchang, and has important sightseeing, tourism, archaeology and research values.
