Zhu Yuanzhang’s father’s name is Zhu Shizhen.

Zhu Shizhen (1283-1344), formerly known as Zhu Wusi, and his wife, Mrs. Chen. Born in Jurong (now Jurong, Jiangsu), his father Zhu Chuyi moved to Xuyi, Sizhou (now Xuyi, Jiangsu), and Zhu Shizhen moved to Zhongli, Haozhou (now Fengyang, Anhui). King Zhu Xinglong of Nanchang, King Zhu Xingsheng of Xuyi, King Zhu Xingzu of Linhuai, Princess Cao (the mother of Li Wenzhong), and the father of Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang. In the fourth year of Zhizheng in the Yuan Dynasty (1344), there was a severe drought in Huaibei. Zhu Shizhen, Chen, and Zhu Xinglong died successively. In 1368, Zhu Yuanzhang established the Ming Dynasty in Nanjing. He was revered as emperor, with the temple name Renzu and the posthumous title Chun Emperor.
