Fuling District is one of the districts under the jurisdiction of Chongqing Municipality. It is located in the central part of Chongqing City and the hinterland of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area. It is located at the intersection of the Yangtze River and Wujiang River. Economically, it is located in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, Wujiang Mainstream Development Zone, and Wulingshan Poverty Alleviation and Development. The junction of the districts is the core city of Chongqing’s one-hour economic circle, the central city of southeastern Chongqing, and the central city of the eastern part of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.
