Hongyuan lotus palm
Red-edged lotus palm is a perennial succulent herb with many branches and subshrubs, 25-50 cm high, and leaves at the top of branches are arranged in a rosette shape. The leaves are obovate, tapering, 2.5 ~ 5 cm long, slightly thick, blue-green to gray-green, covered with hoarfrost, shiny, red to reddish brown, and thin teeth. Pale yellow cymes, sometimes with reddish flowers. Lotus belongs to the genus Nelumbo, with many branches, fleshy leaves arranged in a rosette shape on the branches, thin leaves, obovate, tongue-shaped and kidney-shaped, with short hairs on the leaf margin and racemes. After flowering, plants die.
