Five ancient beasts: Qinglong, White Tiger, Suzaku, Xuanwu and Kirin.
1. Qinglong
Qinglong, one of the four spirits of heaven and the four great dragons in ancient China mythology, originated from the worship of ancient stars, and is the oriental god who represents Tai Hao and the seven lodging places in the east. It is a shock in gossip and a symbol of shaoyang in four elephants and spring in four seasons, and it is also recorded that it is the land of the east of heaven.
2. White Tiger
The white tiger (bái hǔ ?) is one of the four spirits of heaven in ancient China mythology. It originated from the worship of stars in ancient times, and it is the western god who represents seven nights in Shao Hao and the west. It is the main gold in the eight diagrams, symbolizing the lack of yin among the four elephants, the autumn in the four seasons, and also the land of the west.
3. Suzaku
The seven nights in the south are the product of the combination of China myth and astronomy. Astronomers in ancient China divided the stars visible in the sky into 28 parts with seven nights in the east, west, north and south.
It includes Jingsu, Ghost House, Liusu, Xingsu, Zhangsu, Wing House and Hibiscus House. Because the south is Suzaku, it is also called South Suzaku's Seven Nights. In ancient Chinese geomantic omen, it was called Muan Jing, Ghost Golden Sheep, Liutu Swertia, Stellar Horse, Zhangyue Deer, Winged Fire Snake and Pheretima. The patron saint of Taoism, one of the four elephants.
4. Xuanwu
Xuanwu, one of the four spirits of heaven in China's ancient mythology, also known as tortoise and snake, originated from the worship of the ancient stars, and refers to the fact that twenty-eight lodges are divided into seven lodges in the northern Xuanwu among the four elephants according to the southeast and northwest.
In the traditional culture of China, the four elephants refer to Qinglong, Baihu, Suzaku and Xuanwu, which respectively represent the four directions of east, west, north and south. Xuanwu in the north is based on the eight diagrams and the main water in the five elements, symbolizing the old yin in the four elephants and the winter in the four seasons, and it is also the northern land of heaven.
5. Kirin
Kirin refers to the traditional Swiss beast in China. The ancients believed that wherever Kirin haunts, there must be auspicious signs. Sometimes it is used to describe people with outstanding talents and both ability and political integrity. ?
Kirin is a god that ancient people in China believed existed. Among the numerous folklores in China, although there are not many stories about Kirin, it truly reflects its unique preciousness and spirituality everywhere in people's lives.
