Laodingshan National Forest Park is located in the east of Changzhi City, 2 kilometers away from the urban area, with a total area of 2,200 hectares. In the garden, pine and cypress are green, peaches and plums are fragrant, and the ancient caves are shrouded in clouds and winding paths. History has left a cold spring, one of the eight scenic spots in Shangdang County, and there are beautiful legends of Shennong tasting, ploughing thunder and teaching ploughing. When you set foot on Shennong Pavilion, while remembering the achievements of your ancestors and human history, you can also overlook and enjoy the rows of high-rise buildings in modern cities and the field scenery of vast expanse. Boarding the TV relay station of the main peak of Laoding Mountain, from a distance, the mountains are green and the peaks are overlapping.
In recent years, Laodingshan Forest Park has put forward the main line of development and construction with Shennong, the ancestor of China, as the soul of the park. In the development and construction, the historical legend of Yan Di's achievements in the Party and Yan Di's achievements in Baigu Mountain was highlighted, and all-round development and construction were carried out around Shennong, Yan Di. It has invested in the restoration of Xindingdi Ancient Temple, the reconstruction of Kowloon Palace Scenic Area, and the construction of entertainment service facilities and tourist attractions such as the entrance to the park, the entertainment slide and the Shennong ancestor Baicaotang. Laodingshan Forest Park has become a green barrier and a treasure trove of geomantic omen in Changzhi.
