There are different opinions about the ancient pagoda at the top of Shuangta Mountain. Some people say it's two pagodas, some people say it's a temple, and some people say it's where immortals live. Whatever it is, it's there anyway, and its appearance will not change. Let's call it a tower!
Legend has it that the ancient pagoda on Shuangta Mountain was built by the Khitans more than 300 years ago. If the Khitans built it, why build a tower on an upright mountain with no road? This is a mystery.
Two peaks were originally one, one peak. Later, due to natural weathering and other reasons, the peak actually cracked and became the current twin towers. Because of this, there is no way to climb mountains by manpower, because there is no way to climb mountains!
The emperors of the Qing Dynasty were also curious about Shuangta Mountain. Emperor Kangxi, Emperor Qianlong, Emperor Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty, as well as civil and military officials, visited many times, leaving their legacy. It seems that the charm of Shuangta Mountain is not small! The twin peaks of the Twin Towers stand steeply and magnificently. Three hoops are used to reinforce the upper and lower floors of the South Tower. 1998, after the completion of Shuangta Mountain Scenic Area, a steel spiral iron ladder was erected on the south side next to the two peaks, which can climb across the tower, and was dubbed as "Santashan Mountain". There used to be criminals who used the tower to climb to the top of the tower to steal cultural relics; The tower was demolished after it was exposed in 2002 because it destroyed the landscape.
Shuangta Mountain is not only a pair of huge rock pillars, but also an ancient pagoda built on a rock pillar more than 40 meters high. According to folklore, Emperor Qianlong wanted to see the Twin Towers with his own eyes and ordered a ladder to be built. After work, he saw the shrine and incense burner in the small temple. There are two beds of leeks in front of the temple. There were cigarettes in the incense burner, but no one was found in the whole temple. Stegosaurus saw an old book lying on a few stones, picked it up and flipped through it. He didn't know a word, then pulled out a few leek leaves and came down. I went back to the summer resort that night and had a dream. An old man with white hair descended from the sky and asked him why he ventured into the celestial world and asked him for Ganoderma lucidum. The dragon said, I didn't bring Ganoderma lucidum, only a few leek leaves.
The old man asked him, what did your majesty see when he climbed the twin towers? The dragon answered truthfully. The old man said: Old books are heavenly books, straw sandals are cloud climbing boots, incense burners are cloud altars, and leeks are ganoderma lucidum.
It turns out that the old man is a fairy on Shuangta Mountain. The next morning, Gan Long tried to climb the ladder again to get the treasure, but the ladder was blown down by the strong wind. He ordered someone to take the ladder, but he couldn't move it, so he had to give it up.

Unexpectedly, Dawn drifted to this reef island alone. Just now, I prayed for you and asked the Buddha to bless my narrow escape. So they set up a family here, and everything will be fine if it ends well. They live in a temple on the North Reef, fish and grow vegetables, and the small temple on the South Reef serves as a warehouse.
After many, many years, the earth's crust changed, and the water in this area receded and became land. These two reefs are now Shuangta Mountain. After going up, I saw a shrine, a few stones and an incense burner in the small temple, and I didn't know a word. There are a pair of broken sandals under the stone and two beds of leeks in front of the temple. Shuangta Mountain is one of the famous mountains in Chengde, with beautiful scenery nearby. The Luanhe River flows eastward from the lush back hill. There are primitive stone horses, stone benches and caves at the foot of the mountain. With beautiful mountains and towering rocks, it has become a tourist attraction.
Shuangtashan Ancient Pagoda was finally confirmed as the foundation of Liao Pagoda, which is said to be a stone falling from Shuangtashan Mountain in the summer resort. It is said that there are patterns on the stone tablet. According to the pattern of the Buddha statue on the stone tablet, the backlight pattern is confirmed as a relic of the Liao Dynasty, thus inferring that the Twin Towers were built before the Liao Dynasty.
