The Historical Evolution of Taihua Town

Taihua was named Tai Hua in the 14th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1535), which means "beautiful scenery and healthy residents". Originally under the jurisdiction of Youxi County and Yong 'an County, it was placed under Datian County in the 14th year of Ming Jiajing. Ming and Qing Dynasties were thirty-six, thirty-seven and thirty-eight capitals. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), the third district was Taihua Township and Tangquan Township.
