When Feng Shui master was watching Feng Shui, he saw a big bird landing on a hill of Niuti Bridge. He thought it was the guidance of heaven, and the place where the big bird fell was also a very good place for feng shui, so he decided to bury Hu Zuomei here. In order to prevent Hu Zuomei's tomb from being patronized by grave robbers, Kangxi also ordered the construction of 48 tombs for Hu Zuomei, and Hu Zuomei's funeral was held for 48 consecutive days. Every day is the same ostentation and extravagance, so people can't tell the truth from the false.
But the place where these tombs gather the most belongs to Phoenix Mountain, and in modern times, Hu Zuomei's descendants also came to worship their ancestors. It was not until the 1960s that Hu Zuomei's tomb came to mind because of the lack of desks in a rural school. I called on many people to dig out the ancient tomb, which contained dozens of big coffins filled with bones. Surprisingly, when the last coffin was pried open, it was found that the body inside was in good clothes and elastic skin, as if it had just passed away, but there was no head.
There is also a saying that Kangxi killed Hu Zuomei by mistake and later regretted it, so he was reburied. But at that time, because everyone had no awareness of cultural relics protection, they didn't pay much attention to their health. They just removed the coffin board and made desks and table tennis tables. However, the rumor that there is no head has never stopped. It is said that Kangxi had a gold head made for Hu Zuomei to replace the original one, and it was later stolen by grave robbers.
