Mangshan Mountain is a natural barrier to the north of Luoyang, and it is also a military strategic place. As a branch of Mangshan Mountain, Zhao Kuangyin was not the first emperor to take a fancy to this geomantic treasure-house around Mangshan Mountain in western Henan. Mangshan mountain stretches from east to west 190 kilometers, with an altitude of about 250 meters. It was "born in Suzhou and Hangzhou and buried in Beimang", which is an ideal burial place for ancient emperors.
3. Mangshan is a loess hilly land, facing the Yellow River in the south and north, with open terrain and deep soil layer. Four rivers, Yi, Luo, Zhuo and Jian, irrigate Luoyang Basin, and Mangshan Mountain is universally recognized as an ideal place for the soul to rest in peace. Beimang Mountain, located under the central mountain range of Song Yue, was called Middle Earth in ancient times and controlled all directions. Among the five elements of fire, water and soil in Jin Mu, the center is soil, and Beimang Mountain is in an irreplaceable position. Beimang Mountain is not magnificent, but its ups and downs also have a unique charm. Coupled with the embrace of the Yellow River, the terrain behind the mountain is enough to be the best in the world.
