It is a county magistrate in Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province. Mizhi County is the hometown of Li Zicheng. According to legend, Li Zicheng's family has a treasure trove of geomantic omen, and Li Zicheng's grandfather Li Hai and his father Li Shouzhong were buried here. Because feng shui is good, Li Zicheng's rebellion can be great. If we can dig up this ancestor and destroy the bones of Li Hai and Li Shouzhong, it will break Feng Shui and lead to the failure of Li Zicheng. In the fourteenth year of Chongzhen, Bian Dashou reported to Chongzhen to do it. In the spring of the fifteenth year of Chongzhen, Bian made great efforts to find the location of Li Zicheng's ancestors, really dug up the graves of Li Hai and Li Shouzhong, and burned the bones. At that time, Mizhi people were very scared and said in awe: "If the thief repents, the rest will be taken care of and not tired." In the preface to Bian Dashou's "The Book of the Tiger's Mouth", Cheng greatly praised Bian Dashou: "Mr. Wang's wisdom is amazing and great. Husband and thief despair, and their crimes reach heaven. After they forced me to be the monarch, they were able to surprise me, annihilate the evil of production, control the thief's life, and leave him alone. He felt that he was not in Mizhi. If it is him, be sure to help Changbai dig a grave together,' flogging the sea and drinking Shouzhong' (the sea refers to Li Zicheng's grandfather, and Shouzhong is Li Zicheng's father. ) and think:' If you are not born, the world will not be chaotic; If you can't die, the world will be uneven. Changbai doesn't make rice fat, but it keeps growing. Ghosts and gods do not contribute in vain, and national hatred is gone. It can be seen that the literary world hated Li Zicheng at that time.
After the grave excavation, Bian Dashou was persecuted by officials who had in-laws with Li Zicheng and was demoted. When I went west, I met Li Zicheng's troops who broke through Tongguan and fell into Xi 'an. Relatives and friends advised Bian Da to take refuge, but he wouldn't listen: "I killed thieves for the imperial court. Now I am honored to die for my country. Why should I avoid it? " Soon, Beijing was broken and Chongzhen was martyred. Bian Da contacted relatives and friends and plotted against Xingyi Division to avenge national humiliation. As a result, before the case could be brought to justice, Li Zicheng had sent someone to take him into custody, and his wife, mother, brother and uncle were also arrested. Then Bian Dahou described how he was led westward by thieves, how he escaped from the clutches of the guards, how he got help from passers-by and monks, and finally "escaped" and went home.
The outline of the story is like this. Bian Dahou's The Rest of My Life in the Tiger's Mouth is only over 3,000 words, but Cao Yin has rewritten it into a 50-long script. The script describes in detail the changes of Shen Jiajing and the beginning and end of the dynasty. According to page 2 1 of volume 3 of Liu's "In the Courtyard", the intention of adaptation is as follows: "One is to strengthen the military power, the other is to realize the loyalty of civil and military officials in the late Ming Dynasty, the other is the brutality of burglary, and the other is to hate the meanness of false officials." "In the game, all the players expressed their suggestions and punishments, and they always aimed at long white (with long white characters). They still call it "the rest of my life in the jaws of death", and they have made great efforts in word formation, ostentation and extravagance and beauty. When I say surrender, I mean surrender to officials in Li Zicheng. Unfortunately, today, we can only read the original text of "Tiger Mouth Ruins" written by Bian, but we can't read fifty volumes.
