For a new cluster of chrysanthemums, there are no flowers in autumn. What do you miss?

bead

Book: Bloom, bloom. Flowering: To grow buds or flowers.

This sentence comes from "I can't find Lu Hongxian at home" by the Tang Dynasty poet Gao Sengjiao Ran.

The original text is as follows:

He moved his home to the city wall and the country road to Sang Ma's residence.

The chrysanthemum near the fence has not been seen in autumn.

There was no dog barking at the door, so I asked my neighbors in the west.

His neighbor reported that he went to the mountains and always wanted to reflect the sunset on the western hills when he came back.

Vernacular translation:

He moved his home to the city wall, where the country road leads to Sang Ma. Chrysanthemums have been planted near the fence, but they haven't bloomed in autumn. I didn't even call the door, so I went to ask about my neighbors. Neighbors reported that he had gone up the mountain, and when he came back, the setting sun always reflected on the western hills.

Overall evaluation:

The first sentence of this poem says that Lu Yu's new house is near the city wall, not far from the city, but very quiet. You can only see it along the path in the wild until you reach the mulberry bush. These two sentences are quite a hermit charm of Tao Yuanming's "building a house is based on human feelings and there are no chariots and horses" The time for poets to visit at the end of couplets is crisp and natural in autumn.

The chrysanthemum outside Lu Yu's residence was probably planted shortly after she moved here, so although it was autumn, it had not yet blossomed. These two sentences are a turning point and a continuation; The use of Shi Tao Canon, a positive use and a negative use, all show the seclusion of the environment. At this point, the image of a hermit who is beyond the ordinary has come into view, and the poet's interest in visiting friends has also been highlighted.

The second sentence in the neck couplet says that the poet knocked on Lu Yu's door again, but no one answered, not even a dog barked. At this time, the poet may be at a loss, so he immediately turned around and seemed reluctant to go. Let's ask his neighbors in the west. Generally speaking, when you write "I knocked; If you don't answer, you're not even a dog. You've already seen the meaning of "not meeting", and with hair growth, it's easy to become a snake.

Just like Liu Zongyuan's poem "Fisherman": "An old fisherman spent the night here, and under the west cliff, little Qing Ji burned Chu bamboo incense. The sun disappears like a cloud, and there is a noise from the green mountains and green waters. I turned around and saw the waves moving like from the sky, and there were no clouds on the cliff. " The last two sentences are always mentioned by predecessors, such as Su Shi, Yan Yu, Hu Yinglin, Wang Shizhen and Shen Deqian.

However, Jiao Ran's inquiry in the West was just right. On the one hand, seeing the yearning for Lu Yu shows the melancholy of meeting each other late; On the other hand, Lu Yu's image of coming out of the dust is set off by the mouth of western families, which shows the fundamental reason for their mutual recognition. At the same time, Lu Yu, the object described in the poem, is not given any direct description, but his character is vividly portrayed, which is also in line with the purpose of Zen "nothing to say, to be romantic".

The last sentence is the neighbor's answer: Lu Yu went to the mountains and often didn't come back until the sun went down. These two sentences are the same as the last two sentences in Jia Dao's suicide note: "But through these clouds, how do I know which corner of the mountain it is facing?" . The word "every day" vividly describes Lu Yu's confused and strange expression wandering between mountains and rivers all day when talking with his western neighbors, and sets off Lu Yu's mind and demeanor as a noble who doesn't care about dust.

The first half of this poem describes Lu Yu's seclusion scenery; I don't think I wrote Lu Yu in the second half, but I still want to praise people in the end. The remote residence, the unopened chrysanthemums by the fence, the silent portal, and the narrative of Lu Yu's whereabouts in the West all depict Lu Yu's natural disposition. The whole poem is 40 words, the language is ethereal, unadorned, natural, smooth and unique, and has a special taste.
