Bees belong to Hymenoptera, Apidae, with a body length of 8-20 mm, yellowish brown or dark brown, thick hair and almost the same width as the chest. The antenna is knee-shaped, the compound eye is oval, hairy, chewing and sucking in the mouth, and the hind foot carries powder.
Two pairs of membranous wings, the front wing is big and the back wing is small. The front and rear wings are connected by wing hooks. The abdomen is nearly oval, with less body hair than the chest and claws at the end of the abdomen. They must go through four insect states: egg, larva, pupa and adult.
