Geographical location of Langshan Mountain

Nantong is located in the southeast of Jiangsu Province, on the northeast bank of the Yangtze River estuary, bordering the Yangtze River in the west and the Yellow Sea in the east, surrounded by water on three sides, shaped like a peninsula, and facing Shanghai and Suzhou across the river. Known as the "gateway of rivers and seas", it is the hub of north-south transportation along Jiangsu coast. Nantong, a city near the river and a Ma Pingchuan, is known as "the blessed land of Chongchuan" and has the reputation of "a treasure trove of geomantic omen and a pearl of rivers and seas".

Langshan Scenic Area is located on the northeast bank of the Yangtze River, 6 kilometers south of Nantong. There are five mountains: Junshan Mountain, Jianshan Mountain, Langshan Mountain, Maanshan Mountain and Huangni Mountain, which are arranged in an arc along the river for 3.6 kilometers, with a total area of 1 1.27 square kilometers. The five mountains were formed between 350 million and 400 million years, including Huangni Mountain (29.3 meters), Maanshan Mountain (49.4 meters), Langshan Mountain (104.8 meters), Jianshan Mountain (80.5 meters) and Junshan Mountain (108.5 meters), covering an area of 0.728 square kilometers.

Wushan's unique geographical location and beautiful scenery make it five bright pearls on the jianghai plain, among which Langshan is the most famous. It is the first famous mountain where the Yangtze River enters the river from the sea.
