Fraud 1
The hospital introduced by the intermediary is not qualified.
South Koreans have gone to South China for plastic surgery, creating a special industry-plastic surgery agency. Now, there are many "Korean Plastic Surgery" websites. On Taobao, there are also many plastic surgery agents who go to South Korea to attract customers through e-commerce platforms. The services promised by these "Korean plastic surgery agents" generally include contacting hospitals, booking experts, handling visas, buying air tickets, translating, and receiving on the ground. However, they can't provide clear hospital qualifications and recommended experts, and they can't guarantee the success rate of surgery. Even if a few institutions provide it, it is difficult for beauty seekers to verify it on the spot.
Even in Korea, because of the language barrier, there is no direct dialogue between beauty seekers and doctors, so it is difficult to verify the qualifications of hospitals and doctors.
Scam 2
Facilities are not as good as rural clinics in China.
Plastic surgery hospitals in Korean dramas seem to be "tall", but the fact is that there are only a few highly skilled plastic surgery institutions in Korea, most of which are "plastic surgery shops" similar to small clinics in China, with an area of only two rooms and dozens of square meters. There is no laminar flow cleaning equipment in the operating room, which does not meet the requirements of surgical hygiene at all. Most doctors are second-rate and third-rate in South Korea.
Some consumers said that the doors of some operating rooms are only covered by a curtain, the kitchen is next to the operating room, and the beds are all located in the aisle, which is not as good as the rural clinics in China, and the equipment is also very simple. Such a simple medical equipment is bound to bring great risks to the operation and easily lead to postoperative infection and septicemia.
Scam 3
The high cost of cosmetic surgery specializes in "slaughtering" China people.
Compared with domestic plastic surgery, the price of plastic surgery in South Korea is staggering, mostly 5 to 10 times that in China. It turns out that when a China beauty seeker goes to South Korea for plastic surgery, 30%-40% of the plastic surgery expenses will eventually fall into the pocket of the intermediary, and 10%-20% will be earned by the tour guide in the form of salary and kickback, and the real money spent on surgery is usually less than 50%.
What is even more infuriating is that the cost of plastic surgery in hospitals in South Korea is divided into "369 and so on", and the charging standards are also different inside and outside. The lowest fees are Koreans, followed by Korean students, and the highest fees are Koreans who go to South Korea for plastic surgery. The cost of surgery is usually 2-3 times that of Koreans. Take chin pad surgery as an example, as long as it costs 3,000-5,000 yuan in China and at least 50,000-60,000 yuan in South Korea.
But in the consumption concept of Chinese people, the high price is the best, but I don't know that I have fallen into the price trap carefully designed by the intermediary and Korean plastic surgery institutions.
Don't blindly believe in Korean plastic surgery
Under the demonstration of Korean necromancer, some domestic women with higher income and better living conditions often have the idea of going to South Korea for plastic surgery. But experts admit that South Korea's plastic surgery technology is not much more advanced than China's, but South Korea is good at promoting and packaging itself. South Korea promotes plastic surgery as an industry, which can be said to be a national strategy of South Korea.
Of course, it is not excluded that there are good cosmetic surgery institutions in South Korea, but China consumers are not familiar with South Korea, so they can only follow the recommendation of tour guides after going there. Because of the language barrier, it is very risky for Korean consumers to go to China for cosmetic surgery.
In addition, you should know that no matter what plastic surgery project has a shelf life, whether it is done in South Korea or China, an agreement should be signed to prevent disputes in this respect.
