Shi Gandang said, "Easy. We have 12 virgins. Everyone has a gong. Prepare a pot of sesame oil, rub cotton into a thick wick, a pot and a chair. As long as these things are ready, I can catch the monster. " He put the wick in the sesame oil basin and lit the oil lamp. He buckled the basin and the pot together, sat beside it, and supported the edge of the pot with his feet, so that although the lamp was lit, there was no light in the distance. It's getting dark, and with the whirring noise, a demon wind is blowing from the southeast. Shi Gandang turned the pot upside down with one foot, and the oil lamp immediately gave off a dazzling light. Twelve couples beat gongs and drums at the same time. As soon as the monster entered the room, he saw the light and heard the sound. He flashed out and fled to the south. This demon wind came to Fujian and continued to rule as a blessing. Some farmers in Fujian are also troubled by the demon wind and are very ill. People asked around and heard that there was a Shi Gandang in Mount Tai that could drive away monsters, so they invited Shi Gandang to Fujian. Shi Gandang drove away the monster in the old way ... The demon wind fled to the northeast again, and some girls in the northeast were seriously ill, so people invited Shi Gandang to the northeast again.
Shi Gandang thought, "I chased it once, and it escaped to other places. The country is so big, how can I run over? " Yes, there are many stones in Mount Tai. I asked the masons to carve my hometown and name on the stone-Shi Gandang, Mount Tai. Whoever has a demon wind will put this stone outside his house, and monsters are afraid to go in. "
