Introduction of Gong Jingta of Jincheng Baima Temple?

The construction age of Gongjing Pagoda is unknown, and it was rebuilt in the third year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty. The tower is all blue bricks, with seven floors and a height of 23 meters. It stands on the top of the mountain. There are two legends. One is to commemorate "General White Horse", and this tower was specially built, in which the statue of General White Horse's mother is enshrined. According to legend, there is a magistrate in the south who is an official in Jincheng, and he sees beautiful scenery and auspicious signs in Jincheng. It's a treasure-Lying Cow City. In order to destroy the vein of Jincheng, he built a tower in Guduitou Village, called Tieniu Pile, and another tower in Baimasi Mountain, called Niubian. The reason for the construction is not recorded, but a legend. Gongjingta is the tallest building in Baima Temple Mountain. 1939 When the Japanese invaded China, the Baima Temple was almost destroyed by artillery fire. Only the seven-story Gong Jing Pagoda at the top of the mountain survived. After the implementation of the religious policy, Baima Temple and Baima Mata were rebuilt or repaired.

Gongjingta was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Jincheng on 20 13.
