Geomantic omen theory is a general term for the vein, mountain shape, flow direction and sitting direction of homestead or cemetery. Artists believe that no matter whether the house is good or bad, Feng Shui is related to the quality of strangers.
The earliest existing document in which the word "Feng Shui" appears is the Book of Funeral written by Guo Pu, with the old title: "The scripture says,' Scatter with the wind and stop at the boundary of water.' The ancients concentrated on making it stick, and they stopped it, so it was called' Feng Shui'. The method of feng shui is the best to get water, followed by hiding the wind. "Artists of later generations are also synonymous with' integrity'. The method of looking at houses and tombs, dialectically studying Feng Shui, removing its dross, taking its essence, and scientifically and reasonably explaining the phenomenon of Feng Shui can only be used to avoid evil, not to be stubborn.
"Yi copula" says: "The ancients were the king of Fuxi family under heaven. When he looks up, he observes the image in the sky. When he looks down, he observes the laws in the ground and observes the culture of birds and beasts, which is suitable for the earth. " Later, in the literature of the Yin and Zhou Dynasties, there were many records of moving the capital to camps, cities, places and houses, indicating that geography, like astronomy, originated from early people's observation of nature. Therefore, Ban Gu, a historian of the Western Han Dynasty, believes that Xiang, Ren Xiang, Xiang Niuma and Xiang Jian belong to the study of "form and method" (Han Shu Literature and Art Annals).
