Huanghua Village Rural Scenic Spot is located in the northeast of Fengshun County, Guangdong Province, 80 kilometers away from the county seat and 55 kilometers away from Meicheng. The whole village has a population of more than 1,100 and has more than 30 experts and professors. It is a veritable professor’s village. Huanghua Village has a radius of 1.5 kilometers and is surrounded by mountains, peaks and forests. It has lush forests, clear mountain streams, whirling ancient trees, distant mountains covered with daisy, and layers of forests. The Hakka residential buildings in the village are scattered among the mountains and rivers. There is a cause. The ancient trees, houses, streams and small bridges in the entire village form a beautiful pastoral scenery of a Hakka mountain village. The main attractions in the village include: the former residence of Academician Li Guoping, Hakka characteristic houses, primitive forest park, Shuikou ecological beauty, Huanghua Tianchi, etc. The area is rich in mountain, water and forest tourism resources. The primitive forest park with a history of more than 300 years has well-preserved vegetation, winding paths, exotic flowers and trees, towering ancient trees, and clear water, giving it a unique beauty.
In recent years, Huanghua Village has guided the masses to adjust the agricultural industry structure and developed special agricultural products such as rapeseed flowers, day lilies, Shuanghua plums, and bananas. The flowers and fruits are fragrant all year round and the pastoral scenery is beautiful. . In order to make full use of the unique natural and cultural landscapes of Huanghua Village and create and provide more opportunities for local farmers to get rich, with the great attention of the superior tourism department and Fengshun County Party Committee and County Government, Huanghua Village Rural Tourism was launched in September 2007. It was officially launched on March 29th, with the theme of "appreciating the natural pastoral scenery and sports and health", focusing on ecological agriculture sightseeing tourism and natural pastoral scenery tourism, with the theme of "eating farm food, doing farm work, appreciating farm scenery, and living in farmyards" The pastoral and experiential rural tourism is the main line, attracting a large number of tourists from inside and outside the county, especially self-driving tourists from Chaoshan. Attractions such as academicians’ former residences, Hakka-style houses, and primeval forest parks are crowded with visitors, leaving a deep impression on tourists. At the same time, it has driven the sales of agricultural and sideline products for nearly 10,000 people in surrounding villages and increased the income of farmers. It is a key rural tourism project in Meizhou City.
