Engine overheating means that the engine cooling system is too hot. There are many reasons for high engine temperature, and there are many damages to the engine after high temperature.
Influence of engine overheating on engine;
1. When the temperature of the engine cooling system is too high, the cooling system pipeline may burst, or the small warm air water tank may burst, resulting in water damage to the electrical components in the cab;
2. It will damage the cylinder gasket of the engine. After the cylinder gasket is damaged, the coolant will enter the combustion chamber to participate in the combustion, and the connecting rod will bend with a certain probability;
3. If the engine temperature is too high, the engine oil will be too thin, and the internal parts of the engine will not be effectively lubricated, which will lead to increased wear of the engine bearing bush, crankshaft strain and adhesion between the cylinder wall and the piston.
Causes of excessive engine temperature:
1. The engine water temperature is too high because the cooling fan of the engine cooling system is damaged.
2. The thermostat of the engine cooling system can't be opened, which causes the engine water temperature to be too high.
3. Because the circulating water pump in the engine cooling system is damaged, the engine water temperature is too high.
4. The radiator surface of the engine cooling system is too dirty, and the engine water temperature is too high due to poor heat dissipation.
