Introduction of Shandan County

Shandan County is located in the middle of Hexi Corridor, which belongs to Zhangye City. It is the east gate of Jin Zhangye, the shore of the Pearl River and the important town of the Silk Road. It is adjacent to Yongchang in the east, Qinghai in the south and Alashan Right Banner in Inner Mongolia in the north. North-south length 148 km, east-west width 89 km, with a total area of 5402 square kilometers. Shandan County is at an altitude of 1550-444 1 m, surrounded by mountains on three sides, high in the southeast and low in the northwest, and has a continental cold and semi-arid climate.
