Master Xuanhua often uses cause and effect to reveal some causes and effects when giving lectures, so as to convince disciples and the public of the theory of causal reincarnation, such as the cause and effect of two pigeons, blue and white snakes, sick women, butchers and parrots.
1, pigeon karma
1968, 38 pigeons were released from the Buddhist lecture hall in San Francisco, but two of them refused to leave and often participated in the activities of the lecture hall. The master shed tears when he explained that these two pigeons were his two apprentices in the Tang Dynasty (AD 750). The masters were named "Seven Bodhi Points" and "Twelve Fates" respectively. "Seven Bodhi Points" is gentle in character, while "Twelve Fates" is impatient and often flaps his wings to enlighten his master.
2. Karma between the sick woman and the butcher
1In the winter of 988, the "Visiting Group of the Buddhist University in the Holy City of Ten Thousand Buddhas" led by Shang Xuan and Xia Hua went to Ma Hongfa for the third time. 1 1 On the 29th of the month, the master went south to the jurisdiction of Bazhuba and met the believers at Chueh Hui Temple.
Unsurprisingly, among the more than 40 believers who asked to see Master, all of them fell ill and asked for Master's blessing. One of them is a little girl of eleven or twelve. She can talk, jump and run, but she likes to climb on the ground. The master pointed out that the girl was reincarnated as a centipede. As the master pointed out, everyone saw her strange behavior crawling on the ground, really like a centipede crawling. The master then described the cause and effect: this is because her mother was a "poison master" in her last life, specializing in "poisoning people", so the daughter born in this life is also the poison method she often uses-the centipede reincarnated as a daughter, and this disease cannot be cured.
Then, the master was very sad and asked the believers to pay attention to cause and effect so as to avoid endless suffering from generation to generation. Before waiting for the master's blessing, the girl shouted "Go home" in front of everyone. After the master hit her on the head three times with a cane, she immediately calmed down. Later, the master used crutches to increase the intensity and patted her on the head. The master said with a bang, "Quiet". Strangely, instead of being angry, she smiled calmly, held her hand and said, "Bye-bye" (meaning goodbye). Everyone was suffering from illness. When the girl who made a hullabaloo about here tapped her on the head several times with her cane, she immediately calmed down and said "bye-bye" to her rationally. Everyone forgot her illness and couldn't help clapping their hands.
There is also a disciple, fat and bloated, who is also sick, asking for master's blessing. The master was merciful and asked him to "put down the butcher's knife". It turns out that he is a butcher who kills pigs for a living. The master said to him: You were a pig in your last life and reincarnated as a human being in this life. Because you were killed when you were a pig, and the person who killed you is now reincarnated as a pig. Now, in order to collect debts, you are also a butcher who kills pigs and avenges your previous grievances. If you don't put down the butcher's knife immediately, you'll be a pig and slaughtered after death. When was the so-called "revenge"? You'd better put down your butcher's knife at once and change your profession, so that you can avoid the endless pain of reincarnation and do more good deeds to make up for your mistakes in the future, so that your illness will be fine. Then the master hit him on the head three times with a cane.
The same is true of other believers I met. The "mystery" is only known to the receiver. As a result of my personal experience and observation, I deeply understand that this is by no means a magical impossible thing for a person who really practices the knowledge of great goodness: "There is a mystery in the voice of crutches, and every gesture is a wonderful method."
3. What goes around comes around for parrots
A few days ago was the sixth anniversary of the master's nirvana. When I was in Jinlun Temple, one day a Japanese girl brought a parrot to convert to Master. Before that, I never knew that animals could convert to the three treasures, only that people could convert to the three treasures, so I thought, "This nautilus doesn't know what karma can convert to its master? 」
After I didn't know the conversion, the master said, "Some people in the audience are delusional and want to know why this parrot converted to me. I'm telling you, it used to be a feng shui master, always lying and cheating, so it degenerated into a parrot after death. Because I like to say nice things, look! It has beautiful feathers in this life! At that time, I was studying "Feng Shui" and "Destiny" and studied very hard. If you learn well, you want to make money by listing some untrue Jianghu words. After the master said this, I realized that I would become a beast after my death, which scared me from learning "Feng Shui" and "Fate" any more.
4. The fate of Li Jushi
On my way to the holy city, I was accompanied by an old woman named Li Jushi, who took good care of me all the way. She is old, and I am embarrassed to let her take care of me instead of me.
One day, I found there was no bread in the big kitchen. For an instant, I forgot one of the master's rules-everyone who goes out of the mountain gate must go hand in hand. I went to the store outside the mountain gate alone to buy bread. Unexpectedly, Li Jushi has been following me. It was six or seven in the evening, and it was dark. I didn't notice her either. When I came back, someone said to me, "You know what? Li Jushi just went out and was run over by a car. " When I heard this, I was on pins and needles. She must have followed me to protect me. She died, didn't she die for me? When I sleep at night, I also dream that she is crying.
Later, the master revealed her karma: "She was a general in a previous life. Eight of his men begged him to forgive their failure. Instead of forgiving them, he executed them all. Therefore, these people have been reborn as her family in this life and have been disobedient and unfilial to her. In addition, the leader of these eight people, that is, the driver who killed her in this life. This car accident is tantamount to paying off her overnight debt in her previous life. 」
After that, I recited some Tibetan scriptures for her, and gradually, she stopped crying at night. I am glad to meet such good knowledge in my life.
