Six factors affecting children's height

There are several factors that may or may not affect the baby's height! Mom and Dad, let's have a look!

First, genetic factors.

The baby's height, physical strength and development are greatly influenced by parents' genetic factors. If parents are tall and strong and free from diseases, the growth and development of infants and young children will have a good foundation. If parents are in poor health and have hereditary diseases, the chances of infants' growth being negatively affected are high.

Because the baby's height is greatly influenced by heredity, the baby's future height can be predicted to some extent from the parents' height, and the formula is as follows:

Boy's future height (cm) = (father's height+mother's height) × 1.078÷2

Girl's future height (cm) = (father's height ×0.923+ mother's height) ÷2

Second, the mother's health factors.

The health care and nutrition of mothers during pregnancy and lactation are directly related to the growth and development of babies.

Third, nutritional factors.

The nutrition of the baby's body has a great influence on the physical development, especially on the weight. The younger the age, the greater the influence. Because babies grow and develop fast, they need higher quality food than adults. Nutritional factors mainly refer to adequate nutrient supply and reasonable feeding methods.

Fourth, sleep factors.

Lack of sleep will affect children's growth. Newborns are generally required to sleep 20 hours day and night every day, with 15- 18 hours from February to June. August 6- 15 hours; 65438+August -3 years old is 12- 13 hours.

Five, sports factors

Exercise can promote blood circulation, improve bone nutrition, accelerate bone growth, make bones tight and promote body length growth.

Six, living environment factors

Infants and young children should live in a good environment, with fresh air and plenty of sunshine. Coupled with exercise and nutrition, children will grow faster.
