Brief introduction of Gongyi South Railway Station

Gongyi South Station is located in gongyi city City, Henan Province, bordering on National Highway 3 10 in the north, Huiguo Town, the birthplace of Chinese township enterprises, and Zhitian Town, the largest production base of water purification agent in China, and about 18.7 kilometers away from the center of gongyi city. Gongyi South Station, with a mileage of K 642 km+487 m, is a third-class passenger station on the Zhengzhou-Xi 'an high-speed railway, mainly undertaking trips to gongyi city, yanshi city and Guangzhou.

Gongyi South Station is a new passenger station built in cooperation with Zhengzhou-Xi 'an high-speed railway. Construction started in February 2008 and officially opened on February 6, 2065438.

The building area of the station building is 4999 square meters, the waiting room area is 1 996.8 square meters, and the ticket office area is 207.6 square meters, which can accommodate 600 people at the same time. The station has two main lines, two arrival and departure lines, one safety line and three maintenance lines. The first and second platforms are 450m long, 9m wide and1.25m high for passengers to get on and off.

The station is located in Baiyun Mountain, with Songshan residual vein in the south and Iluoshui in the north. The terrain is naturally open. It was regarded as a treasure trove of geomantic omen by astrologers of Zhao Kuangyin, the founding emperor of the Song Dynasty. There were nine emperors in the Northern Song Dynasty. Except Hui and Qin were captured by nomadic people and died in the desert north, the burial place is unknown. The tombs of seven other emperors and their father, Zhao, were buried here, so it was called "Seven Emperors and Eight Mausoleums" and is now located in.
