Xuedou Ridge is located in Zhibukeng Village, where Shang Ada, the "good village official" of Jidong Town, lives. Full of primitive and pure natural wildness. In the past, it was a must-climb ridge on the way to Longfeng from Jidong. The peaks, mountains, ridges, streams, waterfalls, canals and water within the territory are very spectacular. The mountains, light, and water are all integrated into one, fully embodying the four characteristics of Xuedou Ridge: elegance, secludedness, wonder, and danger.
Going up the stream from Zhibukeng Village, the first thing you see is the "Lion Rock", which is lifelike in shape. It sits on the side of the road and looks sideways. It is both peaceful and majestic, as if it is watching over you day and night. The guards at the foot of Xuedou Ridge. Not far from Lion Rock, there is a round and upright boulder, which is shaped like a huge peach. The upper part has been split into two, and the lower part is still connected. On the section between the two halves, the scars of axe-cleavage can be seen, which the locals call it "Jianmen Stone" is also called the Gassho Stone. After leaving the small village and walking to the end of the village, you will see the "Guanguo Stone" lying on the side of the road, as if to attract tourists. Next to the stone is a bamboo pavilion with an ancient style for pedestrians to rest.
Crossing the small bridge over the stream, you can see a hundred-foot waterfall hanging on the cliff. It looks like a silver snake, and the sound is like the sound of silk and bamboo. When it rains heavily, it looks like ten thousand pieces of plain beauty hanging in the sky. The rapids rush and sound like a beating. The characteristic of the drum is that it is a waterfall of two colors. It is as white as silver at ordinary times and as bright as gold in the morning and evening.
Climbing up the mountain, one step at a time, the mountains on both sides stand tall. The blue sky is broken by the peaks on both sides, revealing various shapes.
Going further up, you will see the jagged rocks in the canyon, a unique scenery. Halfway up the mountain, in the stream, there is a rock rising from the ground and covered with vines. It looks like a weighing weight, so it is called "weighing weight stone". It has always been said that the weighing weight refers to the Qiantang River, which is the largest scale in the world. Next to the weighing stone, people from Yuhang built a forbidden stele here in the past. On the stele were written the words "forbidden edict" ["There is a stream flowing in this mountain" written directly, the rest of the words are blurred] and the content is "This Mountains are related to the Feng Shui of Hangzhou. There is no need to pull out grass and cut firewood. Violators will be punished."
Halfway up the mountain on the left side, there is a 60-meter-high "Tiger Rock", which looks like a roaring tiger standing upside down. The ears are gnashing, the mouth is grinning, it seems to be roaring but not roaring, and it is extremely powerful. These strange rocks are so lifelike that you can blurt out their names just by taking a glance at them.
On the hill opposite Laohu Rock, there is an upright flat stone as big as a round table. Legend has it that gods play chess here, so it is called the "Chessboard Stone".
Under the Chessboard Rock, there are two "Father and Son Stones". The father stone is shaped like a finger pointing at the child to talk, and the son stone is sideways with his head facing the sky. According to myths and legends of the past, there was a naughty boy who often defecated everywhere. Once, when the father and son went to Xuedou Ridge to collect firewood, the child urinated in front of Father-in-law Sun. The father said to his son: "If you do this, Father-in-law Sun will be angry." "The child asked his father, have you ever seen the genitals of an ant? The father said no, and the naughty boy said happily: "Then the old Mr. Sun saw that I was just an ant, so how could he see a little thing like me? ". These words were heard by the sun at that time, and the sunshine was reflected by the mountain stream to the sun headquarters. He told the father-in-law of the sun, and when he heard this, the father-in-law was so angry that he turned the child and his useless father into stones, hence the name "Father and Son". stone".
Climbing to the top of the ridge is like climbing a flying ladder. Standing on the dam bridge and looking up, in front of you are the bare Qianren cliffs on both sides, like two stone doors. To show the power of the enemy, there is a "rooster rock" on the stone peak on the left, which is as cool as a rooster, extending its neck and crowing. It seems to be a guardian on a beacon tower, playing a song of victory. Behind the Rooster Rock is the Ancun Reservoir with rippling blue waves.
According to geologists, this place was originally a volcanic crater. When the volcano erupted, the magma formed the ditch, which is now the stream. The stream is sandwiched between two mountains. There is little sunshine all year round, and the stream is particularly cold. , during the hot summer, this is a good place to escape the heat.
The stream rushing down the valley bottom cascades down from the almost vertical cliff of Lingshang Ancun Reservoir, becoming a rare waterfall in Shaoxing. People stand beside it. The roaring sound is endless, and the water that breaks out splashes freely, decorating the waterfall with crystal clear edges. The water mist drifts and turns into mist-like mountain mist. People watching the scenery are gradually enveloped in the mist and become fairies in the clouds. There are no less than five such natural waterfalls and canyons.
Those looking at the scenery are first attracted by the water. The stream has accumulated infinite brute force and rushes forward. The rocks in the stream are like squatting beasts and canine teeth, and they are deflected by the water. The water couldn't pass through, blocking and intercepting it. The water roared and hit head on. Suddenly, a huge boulder blocked the stream, and the stream surface, which was more than ten feet wide, merged into a dark cave. There was a drop of several meters deep under the cave, and the rapids squeezed into it and roared through it.
As soon as you exit the cave, flying rocks and rubble wash down, making roars of dragons and tigers. This scene has been nicknamed "Dragon Cave" and "Dragon Spraying Water". The creek passed through boulders and rocks several times, blocking it again and again, and became twists and turns, but also became colorful.
The grass and trees by the stream are as tenacious as water, swinging their branches into the rushing water, like naughty children playing in the water, letting the rapids wash away ruthlessly. In the narrow valley, the mountains are covered with lush greenery, with wild flowers dotted here and there swaying in the wind, and vines hanging all over the boulders beside the stream and climbing up to tall trees. The wild fruit called "Everyone is red" is decorated with small lanterns under the thorny branches and vines. When you pick it up, it tastes sour and sweet, and sweet and fragrant. A giant umbrella-like torreya tree stands on the hillside beside the stream. The branches are covered with green torreya fruits. The squirrels are jumping up and down on the trees, looking very proud. Suddenly I saw a hare looking for food. I was frightened and ran away. I was caught off guard.
