Fan Wencheng, courtesy name Xiandou, was born in the 25th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1597). The chance of this one is higher~~~
Su Ma Lagu’s real name is "Su Mo'er (er)", which is a transliteration of Mongolian, which means a long bag made of wool. She was born as a poor herdsman in the Horqin Grassland of Mongolia. family. And "Su Mala" is the Manchu name people gave her after she followed Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang Wen (i.e. Dayu'er) to the Kingdom of Jin. Its meaning is similar to "Su Mo'er (er)", which means "half a big pocket". And because she lived near the upper-class royal relatives for a long time, people respectfully called her "Suma Lagu".
She is similar in age to Xiaozhuang. In 1625, after Xiaozhuang married Huang Taiji of Houjin, Su Moer came to Shengjing (today's Shenyang) as Xiaozhuang's maid, and her horizons were opened.
Su Moer is clever and ingenious, and is deeply loved by Xiaozhuang and Huang Taiji. She could write beautiful Manchu, and was later selected by Xiaozhuang to be the Manchu teacher of his beloved Sun Xuanye, who was Kangxi. She is also very good at clothing knitting, and has researched Manchu, Mongolian and Han costumes. According to "Xiaoting Miscellaneous Records", the clothing and crown decorations when the Qing Dynasty was founded were all handmade by Lagu Sumala.
Xiaozhuang once nurtured, protected and trained two emperors, Shunzhi and Kangxi. Among them, Aunt Sumala played an indispensable role in assisting her master with all her heart and soul. Therefore, although Aunt Sumala was not a member of the Qing royal family, she was by no means an ordinary servant and her status was very special.
She remained unmarried throughout her life and always accompanied Xiaozhuang. She also had a very close relationship with Kangxi. When she was in her 70s, in order to prevent her from being lonely, Kangxi personally arranged for her to raise Kangxi's twelfth son Yinzhen.
In the forty-fourth year of Kangxi, that is, in September 1705, Aunt Sumala died of illness at the age of nearly 90. It can be said that she lived a long life. Kangxi was deeply saddened and led almost all the princes to personally deliver the body.
Lagu Sumala was buried in the new city outside the Feng Shui Wall of the Eastern Tomb of the Qing Dynasty. The tomb was classified as a concubine level. It has been stolen and only the top of the tomb remains.
