The water flows into the Yellow River. The place where Xia Yu founded the mountain was called "Lingshikou", which is where Xiamen Village is today. Shanxi folk proverb goes: "Open the mouth of Lingshi and empty Jinyang Lake." In order to express their commemoration and gratitude for Xia Yu's flood control achievements, later generations named this place "Xiamen", and "Xiamen Village" got its name from this. The main building complex of Xiamen Village was built in the Ming Dynasty. The Liang family living here was one of the four prominent families in Lingshi County at that time.
