When you arrive in Jinxi, Gulian Bridge must be seen, not only because it can be called the representative building of Jinxi, but also because the simplicity and innocence of Gulian Bridge in Jinxi are becoming more and more valuable in the case that more and more ancient towns are over-commercialized.
Not far away, it is Lianchi Temple, and occasionally there are waves of long bells floating out of the temple.
Narrow covered bridges, with the fragrant breeze of lotus leaves, the lotus leaves in the fields add color. In front of it, there is a lonely and noble temperament, the precipitation of civilization and the infiltration of love stories, which makes many tourists linger.
Lianchi Temple, a rare temple facing north, was built by Song Xiaozong to pray for Chen Fei to recite scriptures.
Shipailou at the entrance of the scenic spot is opposite Lianchi Temple. There is a plaque on the Shipai Building, which was inscribed by Song Huizong in a thin golden book, "Water Country and Buddha Country".
There is an ancient stone dike between Wubao Lake and Tang Ling Bay, which looks like a dragon ridge. "Running water makes a sound through a stream stone", so it is called "stone sound". There are often sails moored here, the bright moon rises, cigarettes curl up and boat songs are everywhere. "Yinshi Kefan" is one of the eight scenic spots in Jinxi.
Under the sunshine, the whole Gulian Bridge is as beautiful as a hollowed-out paper-cut.
Quiet lake, cruise ships moored at the lake waiting for tourists to arrive.
The charm of water town aroused by cultural accumulation is like a charming and graceful picture.
Dogs on the cruise terminal sit or sleep, leisurely and carefree.
Passing through the cruise terminal, there is a winding old street ahead. The old street is not wide, and there are some old houses with stone walls or blue bricks scattered around it.
Walking to the east bank of Tang Ling Bay, you can see the panorama of Lianchi Temple. Lianchi Temple is a little different. The gate of each temple faces south, but the gate of Lianchi Temple faces north. This may be unique in China temples. There is a "water town Buddha country" in the town, and the temple gate faces north; There is only one family in the world. There are different opinions about why the temple gate faces north. One said it had something to do with Chen Fei. The tomb of Song Xiaozong's favorite princess (Chen Fei) is in Wubao Lake in the south of Lianchi Temple. For Chen Fei's chanting, monks have to face the Bodhisattva and the water tomb, so the main entrance of the temple can only face north. Second, it has something to do with feng shui. After Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang of Ming Dynasty made Nanjing his capital, he sent his strategist Liu Bowen to inspect Jiangnan. When I came to Jinxi, I saw that the water is clear and the soil is fertile. It is a land of feng shui. Holding his fingers, he planned to produce a real dragon in the future. The world is just decided, and the dragon will come out. Why is it no longer chaotic? So Liu Bowen changed the gate of Lianchi Temple to face north to lock the dragon-shaped Jinxi River in the north-just like Qin Shihuang dug Qinhuai River in Nanjing to cut off the king's breath. So Lianchi Temple can only face north.
Yanyue Building, located in the north of Tang Ling Bay, is the largest inn in Jinxi Ancient Town. Yanyue Building is an ancient house with three floors. There are balconies on the second and third floors. You can look out of the window, watch the ship swaying and listen to the boatwoman Wu Yin.
The classical shape of Yanyue Building blends into the lake and water, and the sparkling water surface sets off the ancient houses with green trees.
Entering Guzhen Street, we can see that the traditional architecture is dominated by Ming and Qing Dynasties and the early years of the Republic of China, with typical architectural styles in the south of the Yangtze River, mainly residential houses and quadrangles, as well as unique river street market buildings such as water wall doors, hanging foot buildings, falling water covered bridges and Langfang. The area of ancient buildings accounts for more than 86% of the residential buildings in the town, and the architectural features are simple and elegant, which is a very valuable cultural heritage.

A long north-south water lane extends northward from Tang Ling Bay, and enters the central tourist area of Jinxi Ancient Town along the current.
