Four descriptions of fire, water and wind

Our body is made up of flesh and blood, and Buddhism says it is made up of four elements: earth, fire, water and wind. All these substances have energy, and the amount of energy is determined by the quality of the substance itself. People with good physique will have stronger energy, and vice versa. The accumulation of body energy will have a certain impact on the body itself, things outside the body and even others. The size of the influence is also the size of the so-called energy field. Body energy field is the biological information that human qi and blood are sufficient to a certain extent and spread around.

The ancients said, "Heaven and earth are the big universe, and human body is the small universe." The running law of everything in the world is also the running law of the human body. Jin Mu's five elements of fire, water and soil constitute the external universe. Heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney constitute the interior of human body. They coexist, coordinate, adapt, oppose, and have their own gains and losses. Balance of five elements, favorable weather in nature; Only when the five internal organs are harmonious can the human body live a long and healthy life. Buddhism believes that this is the harmonious unity of the four elements of earth, fire, water and wind, which coordinate and influence each other. Most of them are hard, such as bones, nails and hair; Water is moist, such as sweat and blood; Fire is warm, such as the thermal energy of the body; The wind fluctuates greatly, such as strong breathing from the outside and strong pulse from the inside, so I began to think.

The four major components (life) are from fine to coarse in the order of wind, fire, water and earth, and the four major components (death) are from coarse to fine in the order of earth, water, fire and wind. Among them, the most important thing is that the wind that comes first and the wind that goes later are determined by the mind that is more subtle than the breath. Therefore, the heart is the core of the four, the core of everyone's body and the center of our whole life. Therefore, the heart is the core point of the body energy field. How much energy a person's body can emit is directly proportional to his mental strength. Man is a whole energy field, and the heat energy composed of qi and blood is the expression of energy. The place where qi and blood converge is also the place with the strongest energy. The stronger the energy field, the wider the range of his energy spreading around. For example, the greater the power, the brighter the light. The energy field, like the magnetic field, will have a direct impact on the surroundings. Where the magnetic field is good, people and things will be more comfortable and smooth; Where the magnetic field is not good, there will be various obstacles to people and things. The most powerful magnetic field is the inner spiritual realm of our lives, which is what Buddhists call Buddha nature or true temperament. Therefore, the ultimate goal of Zen in life is to be clear-minded and see nature.

The coordinated body movements such as walking, living, sitting and lying, behavior, thinking and behavior norms will change the energy field of the whole body. Proper behavior will produce positive energy; Evil behavior will produce negative energy. And the center that can finally control the body energy field is still in everyone's mind.

The mind will be disturbed by the external environment and the body itself, thus making people make the decision of "not thinking". This is the so-called "mind follows the environment". No matter how the external environment interferes with the mind, the normal mind is always fragile, changeable and impermanent. The mind will also interfere with the body itself and the external environment, thus making a person full of rational wisdom. This is the portrayal of "the mind can change things, that is, the Tathagata". The positive energy field of the whole life is centered on the "heart" of the previous thought, full of gratitude for everything and full of the love of the awakened one for every life. The real saying is: once the heart is clean, lotus blossoms everywhere. Flowers bloom countless leaves, and leaves see Buddha!
