Cultivation methods and matters needing attention of golden fragrant willow

1. Branch selection: select fully developed, robust and disease-free Japanese willow branches, cut them short, disinfect them and dry them in the air. 2. Substrate: Prepare loose and fertile soil, and disinfect the soil before planting. 3. Planting: Apply a proper amount of rooting powder to the bottom of the branches of the golden fragrant willow, and then cut vertically in the soil. 4. Note: After cutting, the temperature should be kept at 20~30℃.

Introduction of golden fragrant willow

Golden willow is an evergreen tree of Melaleuca in Myrtaceae, with a conical crown, erect trunk, dense branches, slender and soft branches, red branchlets, golden leaves, lanceolate, 2-2.5 cm long and 0.2 cm wide, fragrant, spikes, green petals and capsules.

Jinxiang willow is native to the coastal countries such as the Netherlands and New Zealand. They like warm and humid climate, drought resistance, waterlogging resistance and barren soil. But it is most suitable for growing on fertile, loose, breathable and water-retaining sandy loam.
