What is the introduction of Zhijin Cave?

Zhijindong Scenic Area is dominated by Zhijindong, including Zhijindong Scenic Area, Zhijindong Ancient City, Hongjiadu Plateau Pinghu Scenic Area and Naked He Jie Scenic Area, with a total area of 307 square kilometers. It is one of the second batch of national key scenic spots approved by 1988 the State Council.

Zhijin Cave, formerly known as Daji Cave, is located in Guanzhai Township, 23 kilometers northeast of Zhijin County, and 0/20 kilometers away from Guiyang/KLOC, the provincial capital. It is a multi-level and multi-type karst cave, with a length of 6.6 kilometers, the widest point 175 meters, and the relative height difference exceeding 150 meters. The whole cave has a volume of 5 million cubic meters and a wide space, with three floors in total. There are more than 40 kinds of karst deposits in the cave, showing some main morphological categories of karst caves. According to different landscapes and features, it is divided into 47 halls, including Yingbin Hall, Lecture Hall, Xiang Xue Palace, Shouxing Palace, Guanghan Palace, Lingxiao Hall, 100,000 Mountain, Tallinn Cave, Golden Mouse Palace, Wangshan Lake and Zeguo Water Town. 150 more scenic spots. There are all kinds of grotesque stone pillars, curtains and flowers. In the cave, a strange landscape is formed, just like entering a mythical fantasy world. The largest cave hall covers an area of more than 30,000 square meters. There are dazzling stalactites in every hall, ranging from tens of feet to tender bamboo shoots of various shapes. There are also exquisite curly stones, as clean as ice. Overlord helmet, jade exquisite, Pisces to Guanghan, jellyfish stone, blue-eyed golden mouse and other landscapes are vivid and colorful. In particular, the "Silver Rain Tree", which is as high as 17 meters, stands tall and beautiful in the white jade plate, and everyone is amazed. Zhijin Cave not only has high tourism and aesthetic value, but also has high scientific value in the study of paleogeography and paleometeorology in China.
