Is it good feng shui to have a river behind the house?

People have small bridges and flowing water. In the countryside, some rivers will flow through the village. So in the countryside, is it good feng shui to have a river behind the house? In this issue of House Feng Shui, I will go with teacher Hu Luoyu to find out whether it is good Feng Shui to have a river behind the house. Let’s take a look together.

Q: Is it good feng shui to have a river behind the house?

Answer: Generally, it is an unlucky Feng Shui structure.

Principle: Based on the principle that "qi will disperse when it rides on the wind and stops when it is bounded by water." The main function of rivers is the "boundary Qi" function of water, so this situation must first be judged based on the specific source of Qi. In most excellent Feng Shui patterns, the basic condition is to sit on a mountain facing water; that is, the mountains are used as Yin dragons, and the water is used as Yang dragons. Finally, the dynamic pattern is formed by the intertwining of Yin and Yang mountains and rivers. Therefore, if there is a river behind the house, the mountain dragon energy will not be able to extend to the house, that is, it will be cut off by the river (because "the water in the air boundary stops", that is, it will stop when it sees the water in the river). In this case, the house has no source of vitality. It is an isolated defeat.

So, is it good feng shui to have a river behind the house? If this is the case above, it is not good.

But there is one exception. That is Pingyang Feng Shui: Pingyang Feng Shui has no mountains on all sides, and dragons may come from it; and Pingyang mostly has air leakage from all four sides, so the windows on all sides can take in air. The front and rear do not necessarily depend on the door. If there are many windows in the back and there is a river, the layout will be good and the back windows will bring in strong energy. If it conforms to the layout, it may not necessarily be bad Feng Shui.

So it can be seen that the mountainous area with the river behind the house is mostly in bad luck, except for the flat land. Its feng shui is good and bad. It is necessary to carefully distinguish the specific house corresponding to the flat land before making a decision.
