Batouxi River Basin originates from Diaochuan Mountain in Tuling Town, with a basin area of 97.785 square kilometers, and flows through 22 administrative villages such as Tuling, Nanpu, Huang Qian, mountainside, mountainside saltworks and Pu 'an Development Zone. 222,000 people and 46,000 mu of cultivated land benefited from it. The length of the main stream is 23.73 km, and the length of the main channel in the middle and lower reaches is 15.5km. It is one of the three major water systems in Quangang area and is known as the "Mother River of Quangang".

History of Bat Creek: Formerly known as Sizhou Creek, it flows into Bat Tianqi Port. It extended with the formation of Bart Plain, and was later called Bart River. The main stream is 23.32km long and flows through Tuling, Nanpu, Huang Qian, mountainside and mountainside saltworks. Here, the streams are clear all year round, the banks are shaded by trees, and the surrounding fertile land is ten thousand mu, which is the largest river in Quangang District.
The Bart River we see now has undergone several changes. In the past, there were 99 streams in Bart Creek, which walked along the hillside and was called 99 songs. In the sun, the surging stream is sparkling, just like a dragon winding into the sea. The ship carrying goods can directly reach Tiandun Village in the dam head from the sea halfway up the mountain.
Because there are many bends, the water flow is not smooth, and floods continue. There is a saying: "The dam closes the feng shui, and if there is no rain, there will be big water." In summer, there was a thunderstorm, and it was still scorching hot in the dam head. The mountain torrents caused by the rainstorm in the inner mountain suddenly turned the dam head into the sea of Wang Yang. One year in July, it was flooded 13 times (the flood once flooded the third stage of the Bat ancestral hall 13 stone steps). Frequent floods make the countryside barren and there are sand dunes everywhere. It is called "there is no shortage of sand mother in Batouxi", which means that the sand in Batouxi is inexhaustible. At that time, most of the building sand in Huibei area was dug out and transported by ship.
At the end of 1944, the then inspector general of the General Administration of Anti-smuggling of the Ministry of Finance of the Kuomintang and the major general of the army even made plans to visit relatives. Seeing that the flood in his hometown was so serious, he advocated building Batouxi. Due to the limitation of historical conditions, there is no way to cure the flood.
1958, four people's communes were established in Hui 'an County, all of which were owned by the communes. Bat film belongs to Huang Qian administrative area of Korean People's Commune. At that time, Lian Xing (also known as Lian Chunxing, an upper-class villager in Bart), a member of the People's Committee of Hui 'an County and the former head of Huang Guan District, took the lead in putting forward a proposal to control Bart Creek, which was passed. After investigation and design by the water conservancy department, from Tuling to the mountainside sea, the stream is 60 meters wide, cut and straightened, and all production brigades of Xianhe Commune in the whole dynasty began to contract in sections. 1959 started on the second day of August, fighting day and night, 1960 was completed in the spring. During the excavation of Batouxi, Lianxing ate and lived in the headquarters, and inspected and urged at the scene day and night. After the opening of Bat Creek, he carried out afforestation, soil and water conservation and environmental beautification in the area where the coastal brigade belonged.
At that time, the banks of the Bart River were shaded by trees, and the boats in the stream were dotted with shadows. The stream is clear and drinkable, and there are groups of fish and shrimp in it. Every summer, people from all over the world come here to swim and play in the water, until several sluices are built on the Bart River, which makes it impossible for ships to enter. In the 1990s, after testing, Batouxi was the only unpolluted river among the three major streams in Hui 'an County.
